It is also 1.1 inches wider, standing at 75.6 inches, and 1 inch shorter in height, now at 65.4 inches. The large BMW kidney grille, with its new internal structure of vertically and diagonally arranged bars, adds a fresh touch. The BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting (standard on X3 M50 xDrive, optional on X3 30 xDrive) highlights the grille. L-shaped, overlapping light sources produce the daytime driving lights, side marker lights, and turn signal indicators in the LED headlights.

It features the Miller cycle, redesigned intake ports, dual injection system, and switchable rocker arms for improved efficiency. This model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in six seconds.
