I kept thinking the derivative was the slope and it made my class so difficult because the textbook is so poorly written (hard for me to understand at least). But 2 minutes into this video and you made my life so much easier. love these videos, they're making online calculus much easier!!!

      Yeah taking calculus online can be a bit tough, especially if it is your first time through the course. If you ever have any questions, and you can't seem to find the answer you're looking for, feel free to stop by my channel and leave a comment! I'd love to answer them! On my channel you can also find a playlist of all my own calculus tutorials that cover the first several chapters of most calculus textbooks, in case you ever need some extra explanation or examples. i have a Q :
    in our book there is some rule it is like lim∆x→0 f(c+∆x)-f(c) ÷∆x =m
    can you tell as this is use for what ..!?

    • @JKMath
      @JKMath 2 года назад

      That is the limit definition of a derivative. You use this at the very beginning when learning about derivatives before learning the quicker methods like the power rule. I believe he has a separate video on that topic that you could find. However I also have a few videos I've made on that topic that might help you as well, I'll link one of them below. Thinking about it these types of teachers are really good because students do not disturb them because if they make noise or try to skipp this they only disturb themselves cuz they don' t learn and that is a representation of what schools are attcually like because if you disturb class you do not learn anything.
