1:33 I would love to go up to someone I know at a convention with this, then while it shows he's in critical condition we shake him yelling "LIVE DAMMIT LIVE!" Then when it flatlines at 1:57 we shake him yelling "NOOOO!" 😂🤣
So cool! I'd love to get one! I actually had a dream last night I had to use a tricorder and a phaser, both versions seen on DS9 and Voyager later seasons!
Have you thought about using an inductive charge plate inside? Then you can place it on a charge plate. Does it have a mute button? Maybe a volume control?
can you do a video on how you do your electronics? is it a modified GM props, or your own build? Im especially enamored by the LCD screen and the active buttons. thanks and great job
Brian McCabe ; For the Mk X? I have a few sets complete with the LCD. It should be understood that I designed my boards to fit Roddenberry vacuum formed kits. Fan made resin kits can work but will require additional work opening the view screen area and removing material from the interior walls.
I appreciate your enthusiasm but it takes a significant amount of hours to create this and it uses a highly coveted and exceedingly rare Roddenberry kit.
No biggie here. You can buy it for 55,90 zł (calculate for yourself how much it is in your dollars): allegro.pl/oferta/star-trek-light-and-sound-tricorder-7844824068 Both are merely a toy.

Absolutely fantastic. I would love to see you tear apart at playmates tricorder and see what kind of magic you can produce
OMG!!! That thing is AWESOME!! You could make millions off of that if you could sell to a manufacturer! Super detailed and accurate looking!
Problem with that is it's copyright infringement to sell IP created by studios without a license from said studio.
No. We make tons of lightsabers neopixle nobody cares.

My builds do not use gmprops boards. I create the board and firmware myself. Thanks :)
@@HenryStarling are you currently selling the electronics with firmware?

@@HenryStarling do you take orders? I'd love to commission a build from you.

Is this using a raspberry pi? if so, do you still have the custom image file? I love the animations you used and the design.
Lazy Bunny; Hi, it’s not using Raspberry, Adafruit or any off the shelf product. It’s my own circuit design using commercially available components.
