Hopefully you get OP provider setup before you go. So many people are really just self-centered. I was really surprised at how many people are only out for themselves ...by the time I figured that out anyway. So, I'm not so sure about a pushover vs. being emotionally fragile. It sounds like u r dealing with a lot quite frankly. In that regard, I'd say try and limit how hard you are on yourself. Growth is a slow process. Just be patient, follow your heart.
