"I have played a lot of concerts in Japan as Bichi and Blue Foundation. I have shared the stage with Tenniscoat, Cacoy, Numb, Sokai, Cokiyo, D.O.I., DJ Baku, DJ Klock, Secai, Calm, Saidrum, DJ Krush... etc. Most of these artist are my very close friends. They know my family. They have lived in my home. I've been to their weddings. We have created art together. I live in New York these day, but I see Tokyo as my second home. I love that city. The earthquake in Japan had a big emotional impact on me. I've been reading the news ever since with questions like - How bad is the situation? Are my friends ok?
I wrote the song "Broken Life" to my friends in Tokyo.
It's the first new Blue Foundation song to be released in a long time. I'm very excited about my cooperation with Cecilie Trier from Choir of Young Believers and Chimes & Bells. She plays a beautiful evil cello on the song. I/we hope you'll like it.
Tokyo you're always on my mind..." - Tobias Wilner
