    Bravo! We will never know what other masterpieces George Gershwin (1898-1937) would have written. But there wasn't much that could be done for malignant brain tumors in 1937. May he rest in peace.

    Wow! The best piano solo version I've ever listened to. The score is clearly edited as well. Love it !

    What do you mean "live"- the piano player surely died at the end LOL Thank you for posting, seeing music gives me a false feeling that it's doable, but will probably take me a lifetime!

    I fell in love with this piano version long ago, when I got a recording made from Gershwin's piano roll version. A number of pianist/composers of the day made these, back in the day when many folks had player pianos which would provide much better sound that the 78rpm discs of the day. This recording was on LP from Everest Records.
