      I have really liked this song since I first heard it. I kind of stole the title to use in a phrase of incouragement to one of my favorite young acts out of England. I told the MonaLisa Twins to "Keep on going --Keep on growing -- Keep on glowing" and they have.

    However good Trucks/Tedecski make this classic song, EC still is the effortless genius,as always.

    Great feel. Love Clapton for a long time. And... let's not pretend the vocals are good here.

    Love this song as well..........The vocals are fine!! It's not that easy to have great sound live, especially with low-fi recording. Perhaps their monitors were all f-ed up....

    Bobby wrote this one!

      Bobby said it started as a jam, and he and EC added lyrics.

      @@CommercialVehicle bobby also said Eric added 3 guitar parts one at a time without listening to any of the previously recorded guitar parts he had just done. pure genius, right on..

    Yvonne Elliman singing background, correct? She was performing with him during this time.

    Someone said it sounded like a rehearsal... um, yeah, actually... where the hell's the applause at the end? It might be 11/6/75, and recorded in Miami, but it ain't no concert!! ;O)

    George Terry never sang live before an audience, except some backup.

  • @ryank5761

    This is from 1976. Clapton wasn't in Miami in 1975. Probably George Terry or carl radle singing backup.

      Clapton was in Miami in 1975, just not for a concert. This is from June 11, 1975. Clapton and his band played this at Criterion Studios, Miami, FL as a rehearsal to get ready for their June 14, 1975 concert at Tampa Stadium, Tampa FL, 3 days later.

    Never knew that Clapton played live this song in his solo career. Thanks!
    btw, who's singing with Clapton, besides Yvonne and Marcy? George Terry?

  • @bookguitarguy
    @bookguitarguy 7 лет назад +4

    Is it not Bobby Whitlock doing the vocals along with Clapton?? I think so.
    Since someone asked...

    • @mickeylangley7963

      I also think it's Whitlock.

    • @Maltloaflegrande
      @Maltloaflegrande 3 года назад +2

      Whitlock wasn't in this band; the keyboardist was Dick Simms who didn't sing. Clapton had Yvonne Elliman and Marcy Levy singing with him plus George Terry on second guitar and he'd be the other male voice on this; he used to duet with Clapton on "Sign Language" among others.

      @@Maltloaflegrande That's what I was thinking. It doesn't sound like Whitlock. More's the pity.
      But Elliman - always amazing.
