I really need your help, I moved my sound bar from bedroom to back porch and was going to use the rear speaker kit swa 8500s on a new(all samsung) sound bar hw-b550 in my den. hw-550 working good and when I re hooked up my 8500 it re paired with the speaker on the porch not my new one Now what?

It's a good addition to the soundbar but I wouldn't say its a must have. For example, if you are watching the news, there isn't much it does. But when watching movies it does really well in enhancing the experience. I guess it all depends on each person's viewing habits. It's not too expensive of a kit for what it does. Hi Juan, So I have an HW-N850 and just got these rear speakers but can’t really seem to get much of a sound from them except for some vague ambient sound, what is your recommended set up for each individual sound output on the sound-bar settings(i.e. front, center, rears).
It actually depends on the size of your room and the spacing. Another thing that can throw off the sound is the height of your ceiling. I have vaulted high ceilings in mine. The best thing to do is just experiment with placing the speakers in different spots till you get it to your liking.
@@JuanCamacho21 I'm sure its loud but how do you know its proper rear sound effects and not just virtual surround being pumped out the rear speakers? Listing to a Dolby test video on RUclips and see if you can hear them identify the channels. Some people saying its not.

Should cut out the part where you say it's a wireless system and don't need those wires... totally WRONG... The head unit is wireless back to the sound bar, but the speakers HAVE to be wired to that head unit, else u won't have power to the speakers....also get a F for buying them from best buy. Hahah

It does give the true 5.1 sound. Sometimes I have to turn it down because its so powerful.
