    It was great meeting you folks this year in Boulder City. We really enjoy having our small Port House home base here in Florida where we can park our rig right outside to work on projects. The 50% travel or so works well for us, but we might do more once my wife retires in about a year. Enjoy your winter!!

      Great to hear from you again after last spring, and we agree having the home base sure is a nice addition to the RV Lifestyle especially if you are able to have the RV right outside the side door. Good luck with your RV Adventures and hope to cross paths with you two again one day

    Well, that out-take at the end demonstrated how serious you are about your videos!?! Boy! No wonder they are so good. You work really hard at them. I figured you do, but this was informative. Thank you for the small insight into your process and thank you for going to so much trouble! Safe travels!

      Thanks for such a complimentary comment, I really appreciate it. I do try to tell a story with my videos but often times it it makes no sense at all even to me when I watch one of our videos. So I work on a video until i'm happy with it then publish it and feel some folks will like and understand them and the rest will click the button and go on to the next video and we will all be happy. So it is great to hear when someone enjoys watching

    I went through Eugene Oregon this summer also, so I went to Tru toppers and Had them convert my Slide Outs toppers to true toppers and I love them. No more slide out topper is flapping in the wind.

    • @JustPassingThru
      @JustPassingThru  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Tim, I replaced our toppers in 2016 and 2018 and the 2016 ones are getting pretty bad and need to be replaced. I was hoping True Top would last 10 years but having them out 365 days a year takes a toll on them I guess. We hate that flopping noise when it gets windy so hopefully I get the two bad ones changed this winter. Look forward to seeing you guys come January

    I bet Thanksgiving dinner was awesome. Pearl's cooking is just what the doctor ordered. I can only imaging Laurie's is too.
    Gary helped me with replaced my 2 toppers last winter in Florida. I need to replace my chairs. I have the cheap chinese stuff where it flakes off.
    Little bit different!!! Yeah, can't wait to hear.

If I remember correctly you two had decided on a 5 year plan for full timing, and you're coming up on the halfway mark sometime next year, which makes me curious on how that's going. @@JustPassingThru We decided (after we lost our little dog, Gracie last Fall - she lived 17 years), that we would travel to Europe this Fall, so we took a transatlantic cruise here (I hate flying). We've visited Spain, France, Italy and are spending a month in southern Portugal. We will travel back to FL in a couple of weeks on another transatlantic cruise. It's a late celebration of Scott's retirement. It's very affordable to live here for a while... Basically, a hotel with a kitchen, separate bedroom with a balcony (with a distant view of the sea) is $50 a day. Groceries are cheaper than the U.S. too. We are hoping to do more international travel while we can. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas!
