The Rangers have been playing much better than expected. I'm suprised they won the 1st two games on the road. Yordon Alvarez sure is hitting well by the way. I wonder why he wasn't in this years home run derby.

I'm rooting for Philadelphia too. Bryce Harper VS Rangers looks good for the storylines. Harper going for his legacy ring against a red hot Rangers' team would be great. If there is one pitching staff who would be able to slow that guys down, it would be the current Rangers' staff. And of all the teams that are left, only the Rangers have a legit answer to him. The hitting answer to Bryce Harper is Corey Seager.

THANK YOU LECLERC. Lecloser continues to be clutch. Houston was down 5-1, and they were coming back in that game. 5-4 and Leclerc gets a 4 out save with no momentum. This series is not over yet, but the Rangers are in a really good spot. Houston will always try to comeback, but hopefully, the rangers continue to play well.

I think if they take this series against Houston they could most certainly win it all. The Phillies will have it harder against the Rangers than they would against the Astros, assuming they take care of business against Arizona.

I know it's just two games, but losing that division in Seattle maybe was the best thing to happen to them. Look what they were able to accomplish so far after playing terribly in August and September to then just be playing out of their minds.
They also beat the 2 best teams in the AL, which was outstanding

I'm extremely impressed with the way TEX has played this off-season. Going up 2-0 on the road against the defending champs. HOU had a little momentum especially in the 8th, but they couldn't get over the hump. Series isn't over and HOU will be ready in game 3. Congrats on the win TEX 👍.
Yeah, I’m not surprised that the Astros lost the first 2. They have sucked at home. Expect the Astros to win at least 2 games in Arlington.

I’m a Rangers fan and can’t believe we are in this spot. We have always had one of the deepest batting lineups in the MLB, but pitching has been questionable to bad throughout the year. But everyone has stepped up, been great to watch!

@universalconnection1674 to leclercs defense, that pitch was 3 feet above the strikezone and outside, and Pena still hit the barell of the bat on it. That wasn't a bad pitch, that is more on Jeremy Pena getting the Barell on that pitch. Thank goodness it didn't get out of the park though

As a longtime New York Yankees fan, it's really refreshing to see the Texas Rangers get to the World Series. And I'm so grateful to see my team enjoy the first year of multiple years missing the playoffs.
Memo to GM Brian Cashman: you got rid of an Ace pitcher in Jordan Montgomery and you signed up a washed up pitcher in Rodan.
And gave long-term contracts to #99, Aaron "I fell in Love with strikeouts and double-plays, instead of delivering absolute clutch 2-out base hits with Runners-In-Scoring-Position" Judge.
Texas Rangers fans, thank you for educating me and all of my fellow Yankees fans that having a few down seasons and rebuilding both the farm system full of infield/outfield positional and pitching talent and signing key veterans who desire winning above their personal statistics is truly important. And having my favorite manager Bruce Bochy isn't a bad idea either.
I'm grateful for tipping my Yankees cap 🧢 of respect to you Texas Rangers Nation.

As for you Houston Astros fans: I'll be honest. Your team is truly MORE ACCOMPLISHED than my New York Yankees with 7 consecutive trips to the ALCS and that's the bottom line. Period. The whole thing about Astros struggling at home goes twice for Valdez. This is why i been telling people it'd be way more tactical starting him away in game 3.

I am in awe of this Rangers team! My biggest concern is still Aroldis Chapman coming in late and blowing leads. He is, at best, a batting practice pitcher used to build a struggling hitter's confidence.

I’ve been to many big games and many different stadiums, including 97 and 01 WS in Miami. Never heard a baseball stadium like that last week. Never.

I am extremely disappointed in Kyle Tucker. All year he has been clutch for this team . I can't believe how cold his bat has gotten. You just never know in baseball.
I truly believed he would shine big time in the playoffs. Wow the complete opposite.

The only one to blame is Dusty the clown 🤡. He keeps starting Maldonado and Framber has been very bad he should not even been starting. Dusty has left out France from the starting rotation when France has been the best Astros pitcher all season long. He has only started Diaz in one game don't expect him to be sharp at the plate with very little at bats. He pulled Verlander too early in game one against the Mariners and almost lost the game. He leaves Framber in todays game when he is getting rocked and the Astros lose. Framber has been the worst pitcher on the staff this year but Dusty keeps starting him. Dusty the clown 🤡 making his bad moves every time all his carrer.

When you load the bases with nobody out and still could not get any runs in, it's either the lack of skills, luck, or fate, or all.

Dubon been clutch for us, and Tucker is cold, move the REAL professional hitter Brantley into the 3 slot, Yordan 4 (The professional home runner hitter), Tucker demoted to 6.
The first inning really set this game up. Consecutive singles that continues to score runs. You don't have to win via the long balls. A few well hit balls is enough.
@@kevinl3875Technically, scoring runs is what wins baseball games, even in the postseason. The homers are what people are gonna remember but you can walk off a game with a balk.

When the Astros had the bases loaded with no outs and failed to score a run, my first thought was how much that had to break Astro fans hearts. My second thought was how much i loved that.
It's not only the fact that we did that in game 2 it's the fact that we also did it in game 1 it's more in line on making a statement than anything

Chapman has been really rough recently, but the sad part is that the Rangers don't have other options. I guess we could use will smith, but he has collapsed in August. Our only 2 decent bullpen arms are Josh Sborz whose either lights out or lit up, and Jose Leclerc who has had a nice bounce back season after his recent injuries. Other than that, we have starters, and a ton of starters.
But they are winning regardless. Soooo😮 what's the problem? Enjoy the ride. Can't do anything about it now.

Well as a Astros fan we are in trouble not ideal to go down 0-2. Valdez was awful which he was showing the type of the year he having all season.
We had plenty of chances to take this game with loaded bases but couldn’t get it done. Shoutout to our bullpen for letting us have a chance.
Also Yordan a monster he been the only bright spot on offense.
Game 3 a must win time to see if the Astros can be road warriors like they been all season if not this series is over in either a sweep or in five games
