Mazatlán. Es. Mas. Chingon. Van. Hacer. 3. Rascacielos. Vallarta. Cuantos. Tieme. Jamás. Le. Llegará. A. Mazatlán. El. Malecón. Más. Largo. Del. Mundo.
Comparing Mazatlán Vs Puerto Vallarta it's not the point each place it's just different, Mazatlán originally was not a tourist destination, but a high sea port, in Mexico are those that are in a position to receive large-draft vessels, that is, they transport large amounts of cargo, as well as foreign trade merchandise, which is why it is necessary for the ports to carry out a halt. Later because it's extended long beautiful beaches it became a tourist destination, meanwhile Puerto Vallarta from a small fishing village, jumped into popularity as a tourism destination since the famous movie the Night of the Iguana in 1964, and had become a popular tourist destination as well. In My opinion if you only care about the beach, and not the town, any of both places can do it for you, but if you really want a city with a little bit of history as well, then Mazatlán it's your place. Its historic center it's gorgeous. I was born, and grew up in Mazatlán, but I also know Vallarta way before it became a popular tourist destination. Vallarta offers hills with a jungle kind of look that makes it look very tropical, but trust me, both are very hot, and humid during the summer, but most hotels in both places have AC available. If you are the type who only goes to enjoy the beach and the food, you would do fine anywhere, where there's a beautiful beach, and a comfortable hotel, comparing both, there's no point.
I dont know how you do it. Your videos continue to blow me away. The drone shots are worth every dollar and the headache it gave you. Thankyou would never be enough for the videos we get to see through your lens. 👍

First aereal bombardment was not in Mazatlan but further north at Topolobampo (Sinaloa) where the biplane "Sonora" (Revolutionary) dropped metal pipes filled with dynamite on the cruiser "Guerrero" (Federales) on 15/April/1914. Even though it caused no damage after missing the target, the cruise captain was so scared for the ship he pulled out of combat conceding the port to the revolutionary forces. The "Sonora" did strategic reconnaissance flights over Mazatlan though... I haven't been to Mazatlan since I was 9 y.o. (a looooong time ago!).

Thanks man. I don't think I'd ever come back to Mazatlan, it just doesn't come close to inland locations. The same goes for any beach location in my book. I don't know why people waste their money on these beach places when far better quality can be found inland!

In Puerto Vallarta you will pay 350k for the same condo. Vallarta is more laid out for Americans and if you fmgo to Marina, Zona Romantica/ Emilio Zapata it's like living in Miami San Francisco San Diego. Vallarta rentals are sky high and showing no signs if slowing down
Have fun in Chihuahua... Copper Canyon is an absolutely jaw dropping location, I heard you weren't going to Creel... it's a charming Amish village, if you ever get the chance I'd def recommend it

Mazatlan has a nice old town but the deserted beach has much to be desired. Pretty sure it peaked a long time ago as a beach destination as did Acapulco. If you want to hang out by the pool, then ya, go for it.
I've lived in Mazatlán for 7 years and i have never gone to some places you visited, but there are several ways to enjoy the city, for example i would recommend the food and bars in downtown area around Machado plazuela at night, Deer Island trip or Varali Resort where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, malecón biking or gay bars. On the other hand, you can enjoy Isla de la Piedra tours and swim on the beach and get a trip on boat on the sea or marismas, also there are plenty of sea food restaurants. I think Puerto Vallarta is more beautiful because of their mountains and skyline, green and wild forest with exotic beaches, but in Mazatlán you'll find more a prosperous modern and antique city at the same time
Did you know that Mazatlan has also been featured in Hollywood not only Acapulco or Cancun. In 1976 it made an appereace in Charlies Angel´s in an episode called "The Mexican Connection". In another subject Finn said he is heading north, it would be cool if you could make a colaboration with him !
Unlikely! Most things like my accommodation etc are already booked in other places! I'm flying to Serbia on August 13th but still got another 16 travel videos to film before then lol
We enjoyed Mazatlan, but if you're looking for local live music, as we always are- we find lots in Puerto Vallarta, but we didn't find much in Mazatlan. Oh well.
@@shellylockhart1506 We were there for a week and no one could tell us where we could find any real Mexican music and we weren't interested in rock and roll. This was about 15 years ago.
I don’t like Cancún and Los Cabos. No culture there (at least I don’t think there is). In my opinion, it barely feels you’re in Mexico. I do like Vallarta because despite of being a young city it manages to have a more Mexican feel. But I have to admit Mazatlán is even better. I love that it’s more colonial. I see there’s a better balance between resort and tradition. Very nice! Are there a lot of bilinguals working there? Great vid! Cheers. 🌴🇲🇽🐟
I know exactly what you mean with your Vallarta and Cancun points. I did actually like the areas away from the malecon in PV. Re bilinguals I'm not certain, but quite a few US citizens working online like me etc. Met a few already today in good old Starbucks. I'm a basic bitch lol
Is Mazatlán better than Puerto Vallarta or Cancún? I don’t know, they’re completely different and it depends on what do you want for a beach destination. But anyway, those three locations are in my black list.
@@EduardoLopez-sw4fv más que Riviera Maya no creo, pero digamos que el mercado turístico es similar. Me precio más un poco caro los Cabos pero la oferta hotelera en cantidad no es comparable con Riviera Maya
I’ve been to Mazatlan 10 times (about to go for my 11th trip next month). My favorite thing is petting all the angel gatos! 😁😇 although I’ve been warned by one of my traveling companions not to get bit or I’m going to have a lovely set of rabies shots in my future 😂 it’s worth the risk I think! I loved climbing to the lighthouse because of all the kitties, although it was a TOUGH hike!!! Love Mazatlan so much!!
Lily! I just collapsed at MEOWINGTON! We have the same mindset. I can take a bit of rabies if it means I can pet fluffingtons! I loved that hike! Just annoying that my drone kept getting attacked by birds at the top, I'm surprised I could get the shots I got!
The bridge-like thing in English is a pier. I'm not going to pretend I knew how to say it in Spanish off the top of my head, but according to SpanishDict it's un muelle.
@@davidostrowski679 Every such structure that extends into the water in a line perpendicular to the shore I've ever seen was called a pier. I don't see why having a portion with a glass floor would change that. Perhaps there's another more specific word to describe that exact type of pier. But I think it would still be a pier even if a more specific for it word exists. The structures that could be identified by this hypothetical word that neither of is sure actually exists would still comprise a subset of piers in general.
Puerto Vallarta is better imo. The jungle mountains as the back drop is kinda hard to beat. Kinda reminds me of Hawaii a bit. The beaches are better. Especially Las Animas, Colomitos, Yelapa.
@@davidostrowski679 hahaha i know, i can recognize your beautiful british accent, you don't pronounce the R's either, well, some of them but it's funny to let you know haha

At first I thought the same, it didn't look up to the standard of central mexican food. But it was nice nonetheless! That day was a Monday afternoon and 5 places which had been recommended were all closed so I didn't have much choice lol. I cut a whole section out when I was getting frustrated looking for food!
Those dogs wouldn't have barked at you if you hadn't aimed hate vibes at them. They were mellow mutts just hanging out with their cat pal until you came along. Good video, though, so thanks.

Mazatlan has a nice old town but the deserted beach has much to be desired. Pretty sure it peaked a long time ago as a beach destination as did Acapulco. If you want to hang out by the pool, then ya, go for it.
I've really been thinking about going to Mexico in a few weeks from now. This is an interesting place.
But...I hate cats lol
Haha don't worry you're more like to see bloodthirsty hellhounds. Cats are quite rare lol
Hotel de playa is a very good hotel, private beach cheap and it’s hidden from the Main Street where all the hotels are
I've lived in Mazatlán for 7 years and i have never gone to some places you visited, but there are several ways to enjoy the city, for example i would recommend the food and bars in downtown area around Machado plazuela at night, Deer Island trip or Varali Resort where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets, malecón biking or gay bars. On the other hand, you can enjoy Isla de la Piedra tours and swim on the beach and get a trip on boat on the sea or marismas, also there are plenty of sea food restaurants. I think Puerto Vallarta is more beautiful because of their mountains and skyline, green and wild forest with exotic beaches, but in Mazatlán you'll find more a prosperous modern and antique city at the same time
hey man I had Isla de la Piedra planned for a video but on the day I wanted to do it the whole of Maz was flooded due to a storm! Maybe next time!
Love mazatlan going in March can't wait
have a great time!
hello I met you with the video of the vicita a torreón greetings😊
Did you know that Mazatlan has also been featured in Hollywood not only Acapulco or Cancun. In 1976 it made an appereace in Charlies Angel´s in an episode called "The Mexican Connection". In another subject Finn said he is heading north, it would be cool if you could make a colaboration with him !
yep we are meeting up next week, i think i'm going to appear in one of his most likely!
@@davidostrowski679 He said he was going to Saltillo and Monterrey hope you can go there too !
Oh well.
There is lots in plaza Machado …and Golden Zone restaurants and in many resorts . Kinda hard to miss actually ! Lol
@@shellylockhart1506 We were there for a week and no one could tell us where we could find any real Mexican music and we weren't interested in rock and roll. This was about 15 years ago.
Cerveza pacifico is from mazatlan indeed love all your sinaloa's vids
Yes Mazatlan es my favorite beach
Good you r back! The last video was from Jerez Zac...Saludos "Bronskie Beat"....saludos LA, CA
That was like a year ago amigo lol. There have been plenty since then!!!
@@davidostrowski679 I meant last video in Mexico before your home return...but love Tao's vidoes
I'm a basic bitch lol
what's the song at 4:30?
Details are in the description!
Thank you for torturing us with those tacos 🌮 - #salivating
i have some more in the kitchen left over from lunch lol. and birria !
Is Mazatlán better than Puerto Vallarta or Cancún? I don’t know, they’re completely different and it depends on what do you want for a beach destination. But anyway, those three locations are in my black list.
yep completely different. I just filmed the next one and kinda said the same thing
Mazatlan cannot even be compared to Cancún which is extremely superior. There is no point of comparison, Cancún versus nothing....just like that.
@Sondanny 23 y a pesar de eso los turistas llegan a raudales
Of course it's way better than Vallarta!! The prices, the people and of course, the food is AMAZING!!!
haha I was trying to be more diplomatic lol but I have to agree with you. Prices especially!
I do not think so. Vallarta and New Vallarta have much better hotels than MZT. MZT has good beaches but offers you nothing else
Aww such cute babies 🐱🐱🐱 💕
Hermoso Mazatlan🙏👍👍👍👍
The bridge-like thing in English is a pier. I'm not going to pretend I knew how to say it in Spanish off the top of my head, but according to SpanishDict it's un muelle.
I was thinking pier as well but then I thought isn't that specifically a wooden thing on a beach lol who knows!
It's 'mirador puente de cristal' or 'glass lookout bridge'
Puerto Vallarta is better imo. The jungle mountains as the back drop is kinda hard to beat. Kinda reminds me of Hawaii a bit. The beaches are better. Especially Las Animas, Colomitos, Yelapa.
Thanks for your point of view! I know what you mean about the Hawaii thing.
Faltó la zona dorada :(, y la plaza machado de noche 🤩
No los extrañé, simplemente no estaban en este video. No puedo filmar después del anochecer debido a la poca iluminación.
Good
good vídeo.
Es mi ciudad.
It is not "Maza-lán", you actually have to pronounce the "T" like we normal people do: "Maza-TLÁN". Thank you. Nice video, btw😂😂😂😂
Lol I'm from London, we don't pronounce the letter T unless you're posh, it's glottalised. Think bottle of water (bo'uhl'uh'wo'uh LOL)
@@davidostrowski679 hahaha i know, i can recognize your beautiful british accent, you don't pronounce the R's either, well, some of them but it's funny to let you know haha
Yeeeeeei foood, beach, hot weather heaaaaaven
Just eating more camarón lol
@@davidostrowski679 they’re so meaty and tasty!!! You are so lucky 🍀
Mazatlan has the best sea food in México, bar none
yep it's definitely awesome!
Wrong, Nayarit by far the best
That entire coast has great seafood and there are more lovely cities.
Nice video.
thanks william!
fabulous,, thanks
Thanks Mary Joan!
No olvides comer burritos
i love aguachile despite the fact that is a hot plate. thank u for the answer i understand englis, but i dont know how to write it
En eso te equivocaste, Cancún es mucho más caro que mazatlan, no se comparan en precios.
LOVE THAT T SHIRT 👚 AGUEVO 😂😂😂
JAJA available on my website!
It looks like the driest food I have ever seen 12:35... not very appealing to me!
Looking back I have to agree! I think I was just happy to find somewhere without copyrighted music in the background!
Taco + Seafood = epic street food (Taco gobernador)
Love it! Although I think I reaching camarón overload!
"...Oh! He's got bollocks!" Thank you for that, David!
LOL. Bollocks is an incredibly versatile word!
Puerto Vallarta es mil veces mejor que mazatlan
Looks almost deserted ?
Cool looking city, but WAYYYYY too hot for us.
It's verter than Puerto Vallarta. Have a nice trip.
I have to agree! Thanks Cristina!
Why did the Germans leave?
Te amo @The Tao of David. El es muy divertido todo el tiempo 🙈🐵🦋⚡️💓💦✨✨✨
jaja gracias!
The taco dont look well prepared.
At first I thought the same, it didn't look up to the standard of central mexican food. But it was nice nonetheless! That day was a Monday afternoon and 5 places which had been recommended were all closed so I didn't have much choice lol. I cut a whole section out when I was getting frustrated looking for food!
All hail dogs!!! Lol!!! 😅
Puerto Vallarta becoming so expensive to retire !! Mazatlan might be a cheaper option!!
Mazatlan has the best costal weather in the world from December thru April.
'Loma' is hill.
Esta hermoso Maza pero y la balacera que
En Vallarta eso no pasa
Those dogs wouldn't have barked at you if you hadn't aimed hate vibes at them. They were mellow mutts just hanging out with their cat pal until you came along. Good video, though, so thanks.
Oh come on I was joking with the dogs. It's an ongoing joke about preferring cats over dogs. Mexidogs are brilliant
Something interesting... Moby dick was written in mazatlan
Its so so hot and humid though.
None Is better than other Bro. It depends what are you looking for. What Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta among other mexican beaches have in common Is people who are trying to make living through tourism. It Is what It Is.
Yep i don't really think that...this is RUclips lol. I go into more detail why really neither are better in the next video. Up in a few hours
The best Sea food you ever goint to taste is in Sinaloa
Greetings
Hola Gerardo!
They way you jumped in shock when that Colombian man approached isn't really a good sign for its safety
No it was just because he interrupted me while I was concentrating
Yes it is, a lot better than Vallarta
i have to agree!
I know you from Japan :)
have we met? LOL or did you mean my Japan videos?
