He seemed to ignore the fact merryn used an inflation adjusted rate of return in her pension calculations and rebutted it with "but inflation!"

I think part of the problem is small companies IPOing when they're still burning cash, and then they only get funded 'til next Tuesday because most investors have figured out there's no point in funding a company if other investors aren't willing to do the same, and you can't afford to do it all yourself. It constricts the supply of new winners. I believe many cash-burners don't deserve any cash input, but maybe some could create long term value if they had enough funding, along with oversight by shareholders.

Think it’s already dead tbh, I got out a few years ago and since I sold most of those companies like Vod and Abrdn have been cut in half, it was poor anyway and brexit a total disaster, U.K. now viewed as a political basket case. I keep all my money in USD as well as sterling is also doomed.

A crash and bullish market provides equal high-yield potential, it's all about information and strategy application, I've seen folks make huge 7figure profit in a crashing market and pull it off much easily in a bull market Unequivocally the crash/recession is getting somebody somewhere rich.

On occasion you can beat the market with blind luck, but I wouldn't depend on it. Having a science background there is a saying, 'Luck favors the informed', I've found it to be true, allowed me in great part to retire early

No doubt, having the right plan is invaluable, my portfolio is well-matched for every season of the market and recently hit 100% rise from early last year. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take till Q3 2024.

Impressive! How can I contact this advisor? My portfolio has underperformed, and I need guidance.

I looked up her full name online and found her page. I emailed and made an appointment to talk with her; hopefully, she gets back to me.

I appreciate this share. I set up a call. I am keen on getting to talk to her particularly. Lady looks really great though even with the exams and other stuff.
