Tarif Shabazz you’re a little bit wrong... ratings was doing fine. But , the star of the show was tired of the show. Society/fans didn’t want BRANDY to be nothing else but moesha. Nevertheless Brandy was far from anything like Mo( she said) , & she didn’t like that feeling... Not to mention her music career was taking off even more, the parkers started ... but her mom did do a lot, that I agree.

2009MINORITY I believe it, about her mom. She seems very controlling. The last season it seemed as if everything was literally only about Brandy and her brother. For example, they made just about EVERY guy out to only be attracted to Moesha, including Hakeem, which, to me, didn’t seem believable. I thought that was clearly all of Brandy and her mom’s doing. Then Ray J with his non-acting self, I’m sure the role of Dorian was literally handed to him. On one of her interviews, Sheryl Lee Ralph said that she began to back down from the show after the writers revealed Dorian as Frank’s secret love child and she didn’t like how it was portraying yet another misleading black family. That’s part of the reason why she wasn’t in a plethora of episodes because she was “in Jamaica”. You can tell that the show was losing its quality after Brandy became the producer. I also felt that Brandy felt a little animosity towards Countess Vaughn because The Parker’s was spinning off, so no one too much cared about Moesha anymore. The earlier episodes of Moesha in high school were my all-time favorite ones and Countess was the star of those earlier episodes too. Without her it wasn’t too funny.
