My Mom and I want to say thank you for all the support on our first cooking vlog for Embutido. I know our vlogging style isn’t the most professional, but we really just want to show how it is when we cook at home. Just being our true selves. Hope you all enjoy this one!
Thank you EEDJIOTS! And more to come! 💚

New subscriber here Mama Lulu & Olly🥰God bless po!
NOTICE PLEASE MAMA LULU AND OLLY
No probs. What's important is that you and Mama Lulu are having fun.
No promblem
I love how raw your vlogs are!!! No pressure on making it look “professional” because your videos are already fun to watch✨✨
The way how she speaks and narrates the recipe is reminiscent of how Filipino moms would speak to us whenever they teach us how to cook. Mama Lulu is indeed everyone's mom. 🤍
yes at heartwarming pa ❤️💯
🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thanks po ma'am. Sigurado masarap ang lumpia. Kasi masaya cya magturo at mag luto. GOD BLESS YOU PO
She's a different person here and on tiktok. I don't know why but her voice is comforting and it makes me tear up for some reason. LOL
Taadaa!!! Role is different here, she is trying to teach recipes here not to entertain.
Fr she reminds me of my mom
me too. I feel relaxed watching her talk. Make me miss my mom.
Reminds me of my lola
So true!!!! Galing ni Mama magkwento
This is not just a vlog, this feels like home...
Nag enjoy ako sobra sa panonood sa iyo hindi lang sa galing mong mag luto.pati na rin sa iyo ang saya mong nag pprepare kaya nadala ako wish ko lang matikman ang imbutio.ar lumpiang niloto mo.
Exactly it feels home..

Yes 😭
Very much like home. My titas both passed away within the past two years and this brought me their comfort. Sitting with them wrapping lumpia was the safe place ❤
Mama Lulu my name is Khaalid and I'm all the way from Cape Town South Africa. I totally agree, each mother has her own way of cooking and yours reminds me of my mother cooking. Unfortunately she has passed but I love watching you cook. Brings backs amazing memories. Thank you Mama Lulu. Sending you all my love ❤️
RIP To your mother. May god bless her in heaven.
@@elitemadrid15 Thank You ❤️
"Ever nanay has their own version of cooking."
I definitely agree to this
I'm a fan po tita! 😩❤️🔥 all the way from Manila Philippines 🇵🇭
hi pashout po early HAHAHA
early kuya HAHAHH
same vibes po kayo ni Olly
hello jinho
same siss
Mama Lu reminds me of my American mom cooking. Comforting. Giving tips. Telling us that everyone is different. I teared up. Food looks amazing.
I’m not Pinay but I grew up around the culture and eating the food in the Bay Area ❤️ I don’t eat meat anymore but often crave lumpia and pancit so thank you both for sharing this veggie recipe! I can’t wait to try it!! And listening to a mother talk through her cooking is the most comforting thing, no matter what language 🥺💜
You a niner fan? 👌 hehe
You can add tofu as meat substitute.
^this. Or fried tofu as a side with vinegar and red onion (optional red chili pepper) as dipping sauce ❤️
Sana po story about Mama Lulu's life in US. Para sarap magkwento si Mama Lulu habang nagluluto or nakain 😍😍😍
Hello Mama Lulu and family! I'm Zen from Malaysia. I just wanted to let you know that this video brings so much warmth to my heart because my mom and I always make this at home. Here, instead of Lumpia, we call it Popia, almost every ingredient is identical, even down to the wrapper. Have a great week ahead!
I love watching this family. Very natural in their talks, hilarious and you will learn a lot. I’m happy to say, I was brought up the way Mama Lulu prepares and cooks. 🥰🥰🥰
Even after the captions were gone I felt like I was still understanding everything. Passively learning tagalog words like garlic and sugar while watching.
ur cute
@@phoebe5490 that's random
This is a whole new side of Mama Lulu. Very comforting. I feel like I'm watching from my actual home. Like a family recipe being handed down to me hahaha
Truly
I totally agree🥰
It's so touching to see an Asian mum and her gay son having such a loving relationship. ❤
Mama lulu I made this for new years oh my goodness it was amazing everyone loved them I couldn't believe how fast I ran out of them I'm gonna make them again definitely for sure 💚
I love how even you guys now live in the states, you guys still speak Tagalog at home which is great. A lot of Filipino-Americans and Filipinos in America I know don’t speak Tagalog or any Filipino dialect anymore even at home. Kaya medyo naiyak ako. I love you both! ✨
Most Filipinos don’t speak Tagalog at home in the Philippines. Other languages are not “dialects.” They are languages.
NON-TAGALOG speakers. Subtitles (CC) are available but only 80% done (until the 9 minute mark). Will finish later in the day! Thank you for the patience!
UPDATE: subtitles/cc are now available!
Thank you 🙂 very much appreciated & wow I'm definitely going to try these out they look amazing & that crunch 👌
I was about to comment to say the subtitles stop just before she starts to fry them! Love the vibe you and your Mom have together. Hope my two boys look after me when they're grown ♥️
Mama lulu reminds me of my mom, she always has her efficascent oil whereever she goes. I miss my mom already, She is now in heaven! Please upload more videos frequently 😊
I just know that your mom is watching from above and she’s guiding you throughout the way!! 🕊
Ngayon lang ako napadpad sa youtube channel nyo kasi mostly sa tiktok ako nanonood. Grabe sobrang natural lang nung vlog unlike sa iba. Hanggang dito ang homey ng feels and nakakatuwa 🥰 love your fam ❤️❤️❤️
I like this kind of vlogging better than the ones you had before…calmer, educational, showing how moms are preparing food for their children, caring and sharing. Show some of the things Moms usually do alone in the house.

I think my humor is broken
It’s so comforting hearing her speak Tagalog and teaching us how to cook. Makes me miss rolling up Lumpia with my Lola. Love from Melbourne, aus xx
Love you, Mama Lulu! Filipino moms are not really measuring things so for non-Filipino who would like to do Mama Lulu’s recipe, trust your taste buds. 😃
Super sarap po ito niluto mo Maam super healthy lahat veg.looks so yummy nice for sharing your video cheers from uk po 💖👍
Me gusta mucho oírlos hablar en tagalog, además de notar la influencia del español, mama lulú es muy especial, me recuerda mucho a mi nana; sigan con los videos por favor. lots of love from México ♥
definitely, tagalog has it's spanish influence since our countries we're once colonized by spain, as a filipino, thank you also for appreciating our language ☺️
I'am a fan now, napakalinaw pinoy na pinoy ang pagpapaliwanag at yung naiisip mo na tanong sinasagot na niya agad agad sa pakikipag usap palang, long life mo and stay safe po💙🇸🇦
gud evening po. Paano po magluto ng kalitiran?
It's so interesting to watch you guys speaking in tagalog, there's so many words that are similar with indonesian and i had so much fun watching you guys! Mama lulu is beyond cute and amazing. Sending you lots of love from Indonesia!!
It’s so cool isn’t it!!
I speak Ilocano, a language used in Northern Philippines and we also say Dua for Number 2 and Lima for Number 5 like in Indonesian. 4 and 6 also sounds similar, we say uppat for 4 and inem for 6.
@@one.twentythree whoa learning new culture from different countries always blow my mind, thank youu💕
@@mariee_e sure it is!!💕
I'm frm pampanga and we hav similar words wl Indonesia..
I learned about this dish called lumpia in a webcomic with Flipino characters and was curious to know how it was made. After watching the video, I'd like to try making it, but finding the wrappers might be difficult where I live (literally on the other side of the world 😆). Mama Lulu is very charismatic, I can feel the love she shares through cooking. Thank you for sharing!
Looks good. My question why she added sugar?
Love to see Filipino family, still speaks our language and eat our delicacies. Keep spreading love Mama Lulu and Family stay safe and healthy 😙
I love lumpia ! I'm not Filipino myself, but I have a childhood friend who is half Filipino and her mum always made this, and I loved to eat them ! So that's a little journey back to my childhood ! Nostalgia !
I love how Mama Lulu always sparks joy in her recipes 😭😭😭
I love how you guys can speak tagalog and I can only understand the common Spanish words we share
I love Oliber's Filipino accent, say it again
Oli: Prosen
I miss my lola they just give off the same vibes. She would also cook like this for us in her home. Now shes just part of our good memories. Miss you mama chi
Watching this makes me miss my mom so much. She had a stroke back in 2005 and now its been hard for her to move around. You are very lucky to have a mom who is able to do so many things at her age. Continue to take great care of her. Mothers are beautiful blessings! You are doing such a great job with your mom 😊😊😊 kiss her for me ☺☺☺☺
I'm sorry about your mom, make sure to keep her as close as you can cause they're not there forever :(
Mama Lulu is the typical Pinoy nanay na very heartwarming and you just wanna hug! :)
12 minutes into the video when I realized that it has no background music at all, I was so entertained that i didn't realize it earlier
Trueee napansin ko nalang din ngayon ❤️
I jut realized when you said that hehe ❤️
She’s so right. Every mom has her own recipe and it’s their children favorite.
She is very right, different Mom different style of cooking. She is so funny.
Iba sya sa tiktok
This is very true, my mom has diff. style and she taught me her own recipes, Mama Lulu looks delish. too!
Yep
SarAaaap! Favorite ko yan! Sawsaw sa suka na may bawang, asin at paminta!
❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
More of this kuya oli!!! Make this channel a Talkshow with mama lulu/ Cooking show ❤️❤️
Feeling ko my own nanay is teaching me how to cook. My mum doesn't really know how to cook but her mum did. I feel like if my lola is still alive she would teach me the same way as Mama Lulu. So thank you for making me experience that. Keep doing more cooking vlogs like this guys.
Thank you for sharing my mom passed away recently and I watch this video and ur tik tok videos she reminds me so much of my mother THANK YOU you have no idea what joy seeing ur mother brings to me
Tuwang - tuwa akong panoorin si Mama Lulu. Magaling syang magluto at madaling gayahin dahil hindi kumplekado ang mga gawa niya. Gusto ko rin ang sense of humor niya. Thank you Mama Lulu for sharing this yummy recipe of Lumpiang Gulay … my favorite 😋
grabe enjoy na enjoy po ako sa mga video nyo sa tiktok at dito po sa YT mag upload pa po kayo!!! 😻♥️

As a girl living alone abroad, away from my family, watching Mommy Lulu cooking makes me miss my mama and lola so much 😢 also bringing back those memories 😢
I haven't tried your embutido recipe yet Mama Lulu and you're dropping this veggie lumpia recipe already. I'm excited and and eedjiot too! 😂
Miss na Miss ko ng Mama ko, sa nuodin lang sa iniyo po! Much love to you. Form Germany😭❤️
Me and my 6 years old son is watching, gusto daw niyang kumain now ng lumpia (9pm 🥴) hahaha
I didn’t know that Oliber is fluent in Tagalog.
Oonga e. Haha

True hahah
He grew in Makati, Philippines. Mama lulu gets annoyed when he speaks artsy English. 🤣
The merch is so cute 😍 I know I don't understand filippo language but it sounds so interesting and pleasing to the ear 💜🇮🇪
Im going to cook lumpiang gulay and i saw mama lu's video. I will definitely follow mama lu's recipe.
It really feels like watching my own mom doing the cooking. Just made me realize she isn't here anymore. How I miss my mom and it makes me cry. Anyways, I enjoyed the video. ♥️
Praying for you..RIP to your Mother
I feel you. I cried by the end of the video.

I've had these egg rolls. They are delicious! I used to live in the Midwest and worked with a lot of Filipinos. Oh my goodness! Their food is fabulous. Never did I not enjoy their food, much less their egg rolls.
It's so true that every Filipino mama has her own version of recipes. My mother in law, Juanita FlorCruz, put soy bean sprouts in her Lumpia FlorCruz. Honestly - I LOVE them so much better than regular bean sprouts - really gives that extra nutty crunch when you bite into them. Always fun watching cooking with your mom!🌺
Nakakatuwa n panoorin si mama lu Pinoy n pinoy talaga
Lost my grandmas during the height of the pandemic; watching your videos remind me of them. Thank you so much for the comfort. Please stay healthy always Mama Lulu & family.
She's the typical mom !
Even my mom is like this.... 🤣🤣🤣
Agree!🤣🤣🤣
Protect tita at all cost!!! she's too soft and comforting ❤️ i love her so much!!
"Tantya" is the secret recipe for evey Filipino cuisine 😂😋
😂🤣😂 tama
Every experienced chef or cook uses that technique when they just need to cook in a private setup. 😉
True po
Yes tantya!!! sa mga mas matagal ng nagluluto mas madali na lang sa kanila ang magtantya pero challenge yan sa mga beginners..😊😊
Pero iba sa baking, everything needs to be precised..
I enjoy videos like these. Because I also love to cook and eat!!☺️☺️🥰🥰
To be honest na wala stress ko kay nanay, new subscriber here🤗❤ God bless po nanay thank you po make me smile..🤗❤
Somehoww i understand what Mama Lulu said! It turned out that my language and tagalog share some similar words! Love from INA 🇲🇨
Yeah! In PH History class we we were told that humans who lived during Ice Age in neighboring countries crossed the land bridge to PH. Those countries were Malaysia and Indonesia (correct me if im wrong, fellow Filipinos). The bridge was destroyed due to the melting of ice. Our language is a mix of Malay/Indo and Spanish. 😊
Yeah i also notice some words like bawang, toge, asin (im indonesian too btw)
@@reeseg.2060 Most of Filipino's ancestors are Neolithic farmers from Taiwan and South China (Austronesian) not Indonesian
because we are belong to austronesian
yup we do! but some, though same words, they are different in meaning. example : bawang in phils is garlic, sibuyas is onion. in indonesia, garlic is bawang puti, onion is bawang merah right? 🙂 kecap in indo is toyo or soy sauce. ketchup in the phils is saus tomat. 🙂 i used to work in Solo,Indonesia and learned the language. but since i no longer speak Bahasa here in the Phils, saya sudah lupa banyak kata. 😭
This was cute, you feel the love she put into it and how she takes pride in cooking for her family. She is showing her love.
"Every nanay has her own version of cooking"
Hello sa nanay ko na masabaw magluto ng adobo. Hahaha... Mas gusto daw kasi ng mga apo na masabaw ang adobo nya kaya kaming adults tiis-tiis na lang. Hahaha...
Same
I grew up with masabaw na adobo. It's as good as the dry one. And my mom doesn't usually fry the meat.

Same we as kids thought adobo has sabaw hahaha
Same but I prefer the dry one.
nakakatuwang panuorin haha tinapos ko talaga yung video ni nanay 😇
I’ve been cooking lumpia all 20 years of my life but when I tried this my boys wanted me to make it again. Super Sarap!
She's the most relatable FIlipino mom out there. Love watching her TikTok videos and now I just discovered that you guys have a RUclips channel as well. God bless to you and your family!
Mama Lulu! You’re so endearing and comforting. I hope you’ll get your own cooking show!
Wow naman, galing magluto ni nanay...e try ko to mamaya. Nakakaaliw po kayong panoorin nanay.

Bat ngayon Lang kayo nagpakita sa RUclips ko, sana may nanay pa ako na marunong magluto

Whenever I'm sad or tired, I always watch Mama Lulu. She's such a lovable and charming energy and watching her vlog feels like hoooome.
wow another version of Mama Lulu, a relaxed, soft spoken, motherly Mama Lulu
I appreciate your authenticity. My heart is full everytime I watch your videos.
Very Pinoy, very warm and loving. I remember my Nanay. Her ultimate joy was cooking for us. May she rest in peace.
She’s so genuine I love watching her vlogs and TikTok’s!!! Literally mama of everyone!!
I love Mama Lulu's Cooking vlogs (include the Embutido one)
Hindi talaga niya tinitipid ang mga sangkap na ginagamit niya.....
Wow. Kasarap ng lumpia veggies. Tapos sawsaw sa vinegar with garlic. THE BEST. Tnx for the vlog.
the fact that olly is a drag race, k-pop, safiya, and garrett watts stan. I've never felt more represented in my lifeeee. I would also love to watch a video on mama lulu's journey on raising a child that is a part of the LGBTQIA+. As we know, most Filipino parents tend to be more in the conservative side. I would love to hear your insights and experiences. Thanks for the video, love y'all!
Once we are more comfortable on youtube, we will definitely do more vlog, Q&A type of content together and more fun stuff as well. So grateful we are able to relate and represent you in some type of way. Thank you so much for the support! 💚
Your mom is really happy doing this a.k.a cooking. Glad to see that💕
Thank you for being so generous in sharing your recipes and the foods that you cooked to your friends. Sana all! I learned a lot and enjoyed watching. Will watch more of "Cooking with Mama Lulu" 😊
Silent follower nyo po ako nanay... So sweet mo po .. i remember my Mom dahil sa lumpia ninyo. Pareho kayo ng ingredients.. i was not loving it kasi d ako mahilig sa my manamis na mis na lasa.. but now napanood kita. Gusto ko din gawin yong lumpia na ginagawa nyo.. i missed my Mom be alot and i found some of her characteristics in you.. God bless po Nanay... More blessings and stay healthy po... Keep smiling❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE that this is in Tagalog!!! Thank you so much for representing the Filipino community!! We need to get back to our roots! Mabuhay!!! 😘
Mama Lulu: AY KABAYO!
CC translation: AY! Horsey! 🤣
Ito yung cooking na live walang shortcuts at detalyado. Ramdam ko yung linuluto niya. Actually sinasabayan ko ngayon. 😊
I was just watching the way she wrapped the lumpia then teared up a lot. God I missed my mom and the conversations that we have when wrapping lumpia. You’re a breathe of fresh air Mama Lu❤
Mama Lulu has such a bubbly personality. Just makes me want to try out all her recipes.
Hello mama lulu, watching from Israel 🇮🇱 I’m enjoying your videos… looking forward for more funny moments with your supportive son and cooking shows. Stay happy and take care of your health. Lots of ❤️ God bless you
I felt like I woke-up on a Saturday Morning and watched a cooking show from ABS-CBN 💗
Mother you are so funny 😂 super hilarious 🤣 ❤❤❤❤and generous ❤❤❤mother sarap naman ng fry lumpia mo po ❤yummy ❤
Mama lulu made it look so easy. I got inspired making Embutido from your last video. I used the tancha-tancha method, it turns out really good. I was really proud of myself :) Iwill try this next time for sure. P.s. I prefer the english (Oliver) and Tagalog (mama lulu) convo like on TikTok. They sound more natural na kulitan and pacute.
More pa pong vlog like this please. Nakaka wala po ng stress! Mabuhay!
Wait, you guys also called Garlic as "Bawang" and Bean Sprouts as "Toge"?
I didn't realize how close our language are :)
I have to replay it a couple of time just to make sure I hear it right.
And also when Mama Lulu said Salt as "Asin", I'm smiling because in my language it's mean Salty. Or when she said "What a waste" as "sayang" when using too much oil for deep frying. Sweet is "Matanis" while in our language sweet is "manis"
Greetings for my fellow ASEAN ^^/

Someone corrected me that sweet is "matamis" not "matanis". I'm sorry because I've missed hear this. ^^a

Where are you from then?
