No other genre of music brought so many people from ALL walks of life together to simply forget the world, dance and get along! That's Chicago House Music!!!
FACTS!!! To this day, I know of NO other genre of music that caused so many people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE to forget the world and just dance and get along! NONE!
You would be totally wrong sir. They would have welcomed you with open arms and probably gave you more camera time than some of the regulars. The show didn't care about skin color either. It's unfortunate that people watching the show actually did. During that time they had a few non-black regulars, just not on this clip.
Todd Terry (Royal House) still spins in NYC, London, Madrid, Paris, Tokyo, among other cities. He was at Le Freak House of X party at Public Hotel in NYC a few weeks ago. 🪩
And for a comparison, see the link below for how the UK Acid scene circa 1989 were doing it... a few less staged smiles but all skin colours and lots of love like in this video - ruclips.net/video/648UkmmTG5w/видео.html
This is 'Can You Party' by Royal House as you headline but it's not 'I'll House You' by The Jungle Brothers as you write in the notes. The Jungle Brothers used this at a later date for the backing track to their rap over version which they called 'I'll House You'. Both good but separate releases.
FYI That was posted analytically through Facebook. I know what the name of the song is. I really get a kick out of posts trying to educate me on music and what I post. Like and subscribe. Thanks.
They don't look any more awkward than the comment you just made. They knew they weren't on Soul Train because it pays the same amount of money which is $0. Thanks for your comment.

whats the second song ?

Correct tempo
Who did that last cut "I'm too smooth"? I can't remember it if my life depended on it.
Where was this Club at when I was in Chicago?
Isn’t this the Detroit dance show?
You are correct. The whole page is dedicated to the New Dance Show.
Did Todd Terry come from. CHICAGO, def his sounds like it....thanks my friend
New York
if anybody back then could see into the future how shitty and emo clubmusic/dance would become, they would have taken THIS more seriously.
@1:00 Black boy magic

Mate I luv this tune.
But that is too quick..
@@thomashamilton8125 lol
@@thomashamilton8125 The faster the better.

fantastic early track,,,, but why are they dancing with the lights on,,,,,,,
Um, if the lights were off how can you see them dancing?
allahu akbar
yep I believe Brand Nubian sings that song
Those dancers look very awkward lol. I think they may have thought they were going on Soul Train then turned up to faster bpm's lol
