OK. I have watched this video three times and I'm still mesmerized! I love this new ring pour and this one is especially gorgeous ! I learn so much. Thank you and for goodness sake, don't stop!
Yes, in this case her canvas is covered with white acrylic paint and I believe she uses Floetrol to thin the paint to the proper consistency. I know she has a video on how she mixes her paint. She does NOT use any silicone in the white.
Wow Christina! Gorgeous! Funnily enough, I have done a pour like this, same technique, same colours..except I used Golden paints. It turned out completely different to this..mine was completely covered in cloud cells.Thats one of the things I love about any kind of pouring, the results will never be the same.❤👍😍
Oh my! Thought I liked the other paintings but this one is a winner.. In love with the metallics and the white corner is fine too (doesn't take away its beauty). :D
Yeah I was looking at that on Amazon. I draw alot but this is another interesting hobby I'm interested in. I've also done soap sculptures not like the ones you see on RUclips. I crush soap into chips n add water mix until it's like clay then start sculpting
That is just awesome!!! Really really like the result and I envy your patience when you stretched the paint around...I always feel more stressed 😆😆😆 awesome result :)
I will for sure :)) I had something awesome lately when I tried the wing pour...which failed but the result was stunning beautiful :)) ruclips.net/video/kRJfuYszP4w/видео.html
I love this painting.it is awesome. Please start your video by telling us what did you mix and how much of each. Thank you for sharing your wonderful skills
Before your narrative. While enjoying your Astounding Fluid Ribbons come to life.....loved the ride, colors, the cool tools!. Cut to you and you mentioned “ribbons”. Made me laugh. Well done!! you mentioned @ 7:00. You definitely could have done black on either or colors, lots of inspiration from that pallet 🎉. Next one Even a hair or 2 of the Copper or bronze used. before use your compressor. cool tools.
This is absolutely beautiful!! One critique: Was not able to see you pour the paint into the cup and also was not able to see how you started the pour. Camera was elsewhere.
Love it Christina! Are you able to give me some advice. I’ve done a beautiful pour with gorgeous cells but I’ve mucked up some of the white space and it looks a bit mucky ...it’s very large so I don’t want to re pour - can I use plain white acrylic on top of the acrylic white with GAC800?
First off I love this! It’s so beautiful! Maybe next time zoom out a little or put the cup in view so we can see the paint mixture. I’m not trying to be negative but I just wanted to see it all! Lol Love love it! Thx for the video.
I really like this but I wish you would have shown how much color you put in and how you added it. It's a great piece I just have no idea how you created it - a wider camera shot would be appreciated.
Fine as finished. However, as an option, the white corners could have been pre-done by cup drag, or any other method, and move the main in to meet those corner areas.
Enjoying watching your older videos in my spare time. This is beautiful!
Glad you like them!
Don’t know how I missed this one. It is absolutely gorgeous!! 😍
Better late than never to be here! This pour is the BOMB.
WHEW! Thank God You left it alone !!!! Beautiful !
So glad you stopped when you did. It is absolute perfection!

Love it will have to try this one....
This is absolutely beautiful!! One critique: Was not able to see you pour the paint into the cup and also was not able to see how you started the pour. Camera was elsewhere.
Estelle Goodnight I agree, the girls wanted a closer view. Going back to filming farther away. 😉💕

K bonito, megusto mucho la técnica

Wonderful... 👍🌻
Wonderful!!
Would have liked to see the layering of the cup.
Lori Kendrick didn’t realize I wasn’t in frame. That’s why I like to film farther away. Oh well, I just layered it all on one side.
TFS 👍 👍 👍 its beautiful! !!!! 💖💖💖
Yummptuous!
I m alway
Injoy in this type art
How many oz of paint did you have in cup? Did the entire canvas have the beige base pour?
The entire canvas had a beige basecoat. I used about 7 ounces of paint.
I really like this but I wish you would have shown how much color you put in and how you added it. It's a great piece I just have no idea how you created it - a wider camera shot would be appreciated.
Crickets Nature I have girls that want it closer, but I’m with you on this one, I’m going back to my old way 😉💕
Hey Christina, love your work. Do you mind sharing what size canvas you used
Nancy Laughter this was a 14x14
Wow!
Fine as finished. However, as an option, the white corners could have been pre-done by cup drag, or any other method, and move the main in to meet those corner areas.
This is the result I was looking for. I like some negative space. Thanks for watching.
It would be nice to see how you layer the paint in the cup.
Awesome!!!
Love love this
super!
Because of the colors.... this almost looks like old ripply pages in a book!
Gorgeous, thank you Christina. What do you use to prepare your canvas? It looks shiny.
What paints can I use that are ready to pour? I am currently mixing all my paints with floetrol.
Caren Goodrich has a line, check out her channel. I mix all mine up and store in bottles.
très réussi, bravo
hello, I want to know what are you using on the blank canvas to make it shine?
It's a black base paint. I mix it thinner than the pouring paints.
AMAZING, The combination of colour is fabulous, did you cover the canvas with Gesso or what?
Shadi Alaeifar I laid down my thin white base paint so it would glide better
i used my white base paint so it would flow better.
Christina Welch thank you for replying, you mean white with pouring or ???
Love it! Did you pour the paint on the side of the cup or in the middle??
Everything to one side.
Christina Welch thank you :-D
Do you guys find yourself tilting the phone while she's tilting the painting.
Jane Purdy Hahaha, yes now that you mention it. Gosh that's funny.
I was finding myself tilting and wondering if others were as well!!!
Jane Purdy yes yes yes
All the time!
Yes, I tilt my phone or iPad LOL! I thought I was the only one who did that!!!
Can you tell me what are the most important things to have when you first start.
ruclips.net/video/vZGBzoupHMg/видео.html
Nice
magnifique.
It's a pity you do not show the technique of pouring into the plastic cup.
Why did not you show us how to make them layering in the cup?
I put them all to one side, sorry, tried a different camera angle and it failed...lol. I have gone back to the wider angle. 😉
I would like to know colors did you use for this one?
They are stated in the video.
Perfeito!!!
Belíssima 😍
