Dude!!! Really needed to hear from you today! Got long covid Febr '24 and today was the first day I felt an energy + day. Heart5 is quite literally not like before and limbs are stiff and sore more than not. 52 yrs practicing martial artist, 44 yrs studying and teaching t'ai chi. Rope, and deep knee resting pose,... and some dietary changes has made all the difference. Cheers!
Hiya Andrew mate, thank you for the comment - great to hear from you! Sorry to about the long covid. I know firsthand how rough that can be! Really glad to hear that you’ve started to see some improvements. It can be a long, rocky road to recovery, but the most important thing is to be patient and kind to yourself along the way. All the best pal, take care 👍
Hi Luke, I would like to know how you made the big knot rope. I discovered rope flow through your channel and now I am hooked. Can you share that info with us please? Or is there a video where you already talked about that? Thank you for everything. Great video!
Of course! I used a monkey fist or monkey paw knot to make the big ball of destruction on the end of the rope. It's great for challenging the basic underhand and overhand movements. Just be mindful that it does add a LOT of weight. So please be extra careful not to hit yourself around the head with it (or others). Cheers!
Cool fluid movements you do, Luke. For myself I find it awkward using a rope so instead I like doing movements using my walking stick and soccer ball. Trail running against the flow of gravity is a good way to increase your heart rate.
Thank you Joseph! Can't go wrong with a stick and football, two of my favourite things :) And I agree trail running can be great fun too, another great way to build endurance and connect with the great outdoors
Plenty of choice! I have some from octomoves. Weck RMT is the original. Winding ropes is another. Way of the rope too. Or you can DIY it with some thick fishing or climbing rope
