I didn't realise not all of this area is HS2, at 4.42 😊 you can see the blue silos, of Harleyford Valley Ltd, involved with the existing quarry works..... thanks for the flight...👍👍👍
More excellent footage of an under-reported area, QM 👍 At 0:27 we can see lumps of viaduct waiting to start the 1.5+ mile journey to the 'coalface'. At the same point we see the haul road in the foreground along which the segments used to be transported, although it seems they take a different route these days. At 0:36 there is grass growing and it looks as though that 'pile' of chalk has been spread and will be the final landscape. At 1:17 we see the new Tilehouse Lane in the background and, blimey, is that yet more chunks of viaduct lined up on the trackbed? 2:38 some weird monoliths growing in a field. At 4:13 there is a full frontal of new Tilehouse and its cavernous layby. 5:00 is the 'money shot' - heaps (70-ish?) of viaduct ready to go and just six frames of rebar waiting to be entombed in concrete. The end is definitely nigh. Is it my imagination or has the tunnel ringpiece factory shrunk? Keep 'em coming ...
Interesting commentary!…. 70 or so segments curing, 10 waiting to be picked up, 10 at the coalface.. I reckon a couple more months of production and the unused tunnel segment making factory will feel less alone!
@@PetertheRock. One tries, Lord Rock. QM shoots the excellent footage and I just say what I see. I coud tell you all about the comings and goings of Lake Powell without ever having been within 5000 miles of it.

👍 Interesting…There’s an area to the west close to the M25 which looks like a quarry area too, maybe connected??
It's starting to look rather good. I wonder what the anti's will say when it's all finished.
They’ll probably say ‘ooh this area looks great..what was all the fuss about?!’

Am really impressed, Dave! Can this be you? A serious analysis?! Very welcome in the grand scheme of things. You are a man of hidden talents!

What a total waste of money!
Not sure the 33,000 people currently working on the project would agree with you there! Anyhow i know HS2 is not for everyone so thanks for watching!
