It's not a 10/10 but in all honesty FTX have made a great case for themselves with this truck! How about we get it running alongside the Slash next outing?? Drop your predictions below!👀
Definitely would love to see it up against the slash. You are the only one i have seen that has given a proper honest thoughts of the Apache. I got the Apache a couple of weeks ago and loving it. After a week of owning it i thought would give the brushless vantage a go too as for the money i think you get great value. Would really be interested in what tweak's you do to it. Keep up the great work as you just got a new subscriber on this video alone
I've had a brushed Vantage for 5 years and just recently I've begun a few upgrades. It's been rebuilt a couple of times prior to that and at no real expense because the spares are so cheap. Next step is a brushless conversion because owning the Apache has shown me just what I've been missing with my Vantage.
@@danattridge4336 I modified my one and fitted a 1/8 scale combo, as long as you swap out the slipper clutch for a centre diff it handles the power very well. If not the diffs explode internally
Bought one recently after many years away from RCs, really happy with it. No doubt I’ll want to upgrade once I get back in to the swing of it but as you say, for the dosh it’s 👌🏻. Where’s that track you’re using?
I'm really torn between the Apache and the Brushless Zorro. Both seem like capable platforms but the Apache gets the 3S battery standard over the 2S of the Zorro. The centre diff on the Zorro makes it look like a dream to handle. The fact that I'm stuck with this choice shows how FTX have come along.
Price, style, quality of parts it's got it all going on. Let's hope they don't hike the price up after a few more sales. Great car I'm almost sold what is upgrade available like?
It's got a solid basis behind it. In terms of upgrades we'll have to do some research there to be honest. Be something to talk about in the next video but so far impressions are strong💯
Other than the styling Ftx seems to have gone backwards with the recent release. Dr8 and Zorro looked promising with there centre diffs. Then they released the carnage 2.0 without a centre diff when they could have used the Zorro Brushless chassis. The recent Alpache Ramraider and Rokatan all have the same chassis with a slipper clutch so im disappointed. Styling is great though.

Also One of the nicest looking none licnced shells of all the sc trucks imo.
Couldn't agree more. Rinses the competition body wise!
Great ground level shots! 👍
Thanks!

Thanks buddy, we're impressed that's for sure!

I like, it’s based on the helion dominus, 6s in my one, enough power now 😅💪
Standard Steve😂🔥

Exactly, FTX are proving themselves here!
I would go for the Zorro imo
Cool and nippy truck for the money.
It's not half bad, see how it compares to the slash👀
nice
Noice
