Not to be rude... Allah guides whomever he wills.. So every Muslims are chosen ones and who gets reverted towards Islam are also chosen ones and Allah tests everyone in different ways ..Some of us are gifted by Allah with high level of Iman and haya and some of us aren't .. Our duty is to ask Allah for haya and highest level of Jannah.. If you have good character think in this way those characters themselves are gifted to you by Allah.. The phrase like "chosen one" may lead you to Arrogance and mislead you.. Allah sees everyone as equal and if you have good characters thank Allah SWT for granting you those characters.. Allah surely made us Muslims so we are all chosen ones.. So don't think greatly of yourself it not for Allah's we all would be away from straight path of his ..we are not aware how our end would be that one moment of Arrogance may lead us far away from our straight path ..
