I'm just learning how to heal higher keys but this kind of video is really helpful. Hearing your thought process, the reasons behind your decisions, and what you're looking at are things that can be taken to any other key. It's especially nice that it's with pugs in mind and not specific comps.
The whole concept of bursting is such a mystery for dps
So much of the game pushes doing the highest dps possible, and group performance is often rated on overall DPS. When an affix comes along that pushes people to ignore that instinct, I can understand why they ignore it. Id like to see bursting changed to punish dps for overstacking instead of sending the healer into hell.
@@Byhythloh How is the healer in hell, he just keeps his rotation clean and if people chose to die they die. If anything as the one doing the least damage usually, he has the least responsibility for the affix. Once you hit higher keys, you're likely using big cds every pull since they all take 1-2 mins. a lot of them you can roll over into bursting pretty easily. tbh, bursting is usually only an affix that feels relevant when you're in lower keys where dps often do higher damage then key level requires without any of the efficiency to their damage profile
Rating only on dps is so bad. Utility and surviving in the right moments is more important. DH's are especially allergic to their netherwalk in pugs :D They can't do dmg, so they refuse to press it even on 15 stacks bursting, or when dropping low before a big aoe happens :D
@@Ratatoeskrrr lol so spot on eith netherwalk :-D had havoc flopping on first boss in BRH with blur and netherwalk not being used, and he was like i used darkness 😅 +27

This Mage can't save iceblock or even use it because choose the DR as Talent, not the Iceblock...

Love these videos! Super useful trying to push keys :) I've recently got omni cd to better see when my teammates have defensives up, but I'm having trouble setting it up/configuring. Could you share your profile for that? :)

Did you have a link for that weakaura that times berzerker jumps? I can't find it in your "all weakauras" link.
You mentioned a few times that you have forgotten treants. The behavior of your WA makes treants always grayed out which probably reads as "on cd" like your other WAs.
I think high level Rise on MW would be good. Maybe watching someone else do Morchie and last boss would help. I feel like there's so much going on it's tough to parse through the noise. Also 3rd boss in Throne of Tides on Tyran is a bully. (although, like you mentioned in this video, if ppl used their personals it would not be as hard.) The Sisters fight in Waycrest on tyran on high keys sucks too. I think some of that is due to missed interupts. I've had nettles go off back to back and the group debuff at the same time & you're just effed.
TFW you play scuffed pres but can mass dispel the big bursting every 1.5m ezclap.
you should try pres, imo its more fun then aug
I have like zero time to do damage in these high keys the minute I start and switch to cat I feel like I’m behind on my hots and someone’s dam near dead
I like to get my hots up, wild growth last (depending on the situation) throw in treant in and just swipe away. Trust the treants, they can do your job for you for a little while

It will forever be wild to me that people take mages for high keys. Their damage is always terrible.
Incarn over convoke? Do you run that often or just for tyran?
i think it comes down to dungeons and affixes. everbloom bursting and tyrannical is for sure requiring incarn. convoke is ok especially in lower keys where u can catweave alot and get the dmg from it, but i think if heavy healing is required like at the second and 3rd boss convoke doesnt cut it. especially on bursting with the dreadpattels being side fodder for dps going up to 12 stacks back to back.

@@mikea.3686 Honestly I was really surprised to see Tree over Convoke FOR Bursting. Whenever my team gets a massive stack of Bursting Convoke is my 'get out of jail' card. I feel like Tree is a much better ST healing option and of course much better for overall HPS over the course of a run.... but for on demand HEAL OR DIE moments, Convoke is the way to go (and that's what I think of as the challenge of Bursting). I'm doing 24-26 keys tho, so maybe it gets harder further up?

Still remember in plaguefall the room of first boss with all the slime and tank pulling all 20ish during bursting week just dispelling myself and all 3 dps crying because they die😂 like bruh u have 20+ stack what do you want me to do

3-5 bursting stacks is a healer problem. 6+ is a dps problem.
Don't forget to add them to your friend list afterwards, or you have no social skills?!?

Maybe he plays Verdancy + Photosynthesis. that'S what i'm doing atleast. Live bloom on yourself wont procc the blooms that procc verdancy.
try 18-20 key, bursting in lower key is harder since add dies fast and you won't recover ur cd 20s each pull; i only made with hpal and beacon of vertue,
