161mm clearance is definitely too low for an AWD. Strange that the 2WD Okavango is 193mm like the Mazda and others. Another big killer for me is the poor gas milage of 7-11Km per liter despite the mild hybrid assist. I see that there are pinholes in the front seats but I don't think that they have venting through them. Their Volvo purchase helped them leapfrog some competitors. But an annoying miss is not having Apple Car Play or Android auto. Because of the negative issues mentioned, I'll be passing on it.
I have been in the interior and it does have a luxury feel but will it have the longevity of a Mazda, Subaru or Kia? Time will tell. In the mean time, the established car makers have the edge in resale value but the Japanese and Korean car manufacturers better watch their back.
Resale value shit is real. Lahat na ba ng tao ngayon nasa car business? Investment ba hanap mo, buy land. Buying cars is not an investment.
this car will enter our malaysian market as a proton around next year, may i know if this model has apple/android car play? because that's what consumers here have been criticizing them of not having in their previous models.
It does not have and Malaysia will never get Android Auto or Apply Carplay especially with the investments made into ACO Tech.

LTO removed mild hybrid cars in the coding exemption. SO Azkarra is still included in the coding scheme.

Joo, what can you say about the spare parts concerns raised by some Filipinos in social media threads on Chinese brand vehicles?
One of my mentor doctor have a geely coolray and had an accident werein her driver door had to be replaced however due to warranty she have to do it with casa (in house geely shop).
Until now she is waiting for her unit for 4 months now. Fyi the car is stuck at geely casa until now and they said she needs to put it in casa still even though she wanted to use it with a damaged car since she doesnt have any spare car.
So sad to hear this kind of discomfort with geely since im also eyeing for it since 2020
Yes.. they still have to address SERVICE CENTER and PARTS AVAILABILITY. they have only service center in NCR and.not even I all cities municipalities of NCR.

geely aka proton is very nice car n very comfort,the price is good n can afford this car give all safety 360 camera so on, BUT the oil to high i proton x50 1.5 2022 i rather drive my other car to penang 480km more save but i will not drive x70 seriusly the oil very high n car body over weight, got pro n cons cheaper price ,comfort same as x50 full tank rm80 full tank town driving get 350km only 😅😅😅

They bought Volvo and are the single largest shareholder of Daimler (parent company of Mercedes-Benz). Also interesting to note is that they are the only (so far) fully privately owned Chinese car company. Most car companies, and Chinese companies in general, have Chinese gov't personnel in the board of directors or management.

Keep pedaling that stigma so fewer people like me can enjoy European quality "squatter" cars, while commoners like you can enjoy the pride of whatever populist brand it is that you aspired to.
