- Are you a guitarist and you are wondering if you could use the boss rc 505?
Check this video out and you will see some of the things that this machine is capable off when using a guitar, midi keyboard and some vocals.
I’m looping my midi sounds using the Akai mpk mini MK3 - this is through Mainstage on the Mac.
My guitar is a Maton semi acoustic and it is plugged directly into the BOSS RC 505. I am not using any foot pedals at all.,
All of the effects on my guitar and vocals are done though the loop station as well.

I just bought me a RC 505MK2 and i needed some Instructions :) With Parkinson, Fibromyalgia, Crampi, Asthma and some other Issues it is not so easy but i do it. I have a question. hope I explain it wel... when you record your guitar through line in and your vocal mic is also connected, how do you avoid that the guitar sound is also recorded through your voice mic so you don't record it accidentally on your vocal track? Is there a way to turn of the voice mic while recording the guitar?

How did you connect your akai mpk to your boss looper?
It’s plugged into my lap top… lap top is connnected to the boss looper via AUX chord
