I have only listened to the first 15 minutes. Will listen to the remaining when I get home. I was that 52 year old woman. Same numbers and lifestyle. Refused statins. I did have family history. At 62 I had a cac scan and lipoprotein a test. Cac was 960 and Lpa was 200. Lipid number had shot up in the last two years. Angiogram showed five blockages. Bypass in November. My sister was found to have a 60% blockage 20 years ago. She started on a high dose statin and her blockage is still the same. I’m on dr. Esselstyns diet now. Tried to reduce statin and even on the diet my numbers went up.

Exercise or high intensity training (H.I.T.) of 30 minutes a day may help to reduce cholesterol. I think it might. The other thing is whether taking the right ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 would make a difference. Either 1:1 or 2:1 Omega 3 to Omega 6.
