    What if you were asked to heat the mixture of salts, that is Cn? Lead nitrate can decompose on heating. So what will be the supposed process after decomposition of lead nitrate?

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад

      The Lead nitrate would convert to lead carbonate(Residue) when the residue PbCO3 is heated, it will produce PbO(yellow when cold) and brownish/Red when hot then it will give off CO2 gas

    • @lizharrison808
      @lizharrison808 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@Basilhenry185 Thank you. However my question is on the original mixture of sodium carbonate and lead nitrate (Cn). Lead carbonate is formed when water is added to the salts mixture and subsequent double decomposition reaction occurs. Simple put, what will happen if we heat the mixture of sodium carbonate and lead nitrate without adding water?

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@lizharrison808 we can't be asked what because they already asked us to mix the salts in 1:1 proportion

    Please sir did you use heptahydrate or anhydrous feso4

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад +1

      I finally used hydrated FeSO4 because the anhydrous I had was too small, and I tried buying from the market but it was scarce, so I quickly converted the 5.5g of the supposed anhydrous into 10.06g for hydrated,
      It gave me my exact tire around 18.30 above

      Anhydrous fe2 is virtually not available in my area. I was able to manipulate the hydrated and got 19.00cm

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад

      Your value is supposed to be around 17-19cm3

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад

      Check my recent video so you understand how you can prepare the hydrated FeSO4 to give you an accurate value

    • @mustaphaibrahim8793
      @mustaphaibrahim8793 8 месяцев назад +1

      For redox value is hardly go beyond 10.

    • @Basilhenry185
      @Basilhenry185  8 месяцев назад

      @@mustaphaibrahim8793 yeah but if you calculate it theoretically, you would get around 17-19cm3, follow the instructions using anhydrous FeSO4, you will get it
