Holy shit, please do more from them. I recommend The March, Red Hands, Bitter Suite IV and V, Ouroboros, Gloria, The Fire (Remains), and In Cauda Venenum, though there are so many more. One of my personal favorites is Mustard Gas. It's a really powerful song, especially if you pay attention to the lyrics (hint: it's about the protagonist's experience fighting in WWI).
Max Maidment Isn't it fun watching reactions to music you love? Most of my favorite RUclips channels are reactions so I thought I would make one so I can hear more music. I think I am pretty boring on camera lol but pretty funny to hang out with. Glad to see that there are people that like the videos enough to subscribe. Thank you so much for that
Hey 1000 wiews ur welcome...lol... I absolutely love these guys seen them 7 times in chicago and even got in a bad car accident on the way to the show and still rocked out
I'm glad you liked it that much! It's a really great song, often a bit overlooked because it's placed next to A Night on the Town (another amazing song, totally different to this one, and nine-minutes long too) on the album. It really has a Floydian vibe, it's part of what I like about the song actually. The album is Act IV because it's part four of a six-part storyline. So far there's five records. IV is my personal favourite. If you liked the Floyd vibe in this, you should check Again by Archive. And I'm totally checking Doctor Dog as soon as I can!
Might as well do "A Night on the Town" next. It's the song prior to this one, and one of the best from the group :) My current favorite band out there :) If you did listen trough the whole album, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! :)
Okay, maybe only do "A Night on the Town" from this album. Then listen to the whole thing at once. Since the album is a concept piece and ties together, I wouldn't advise taking it too much apart :) It is made to be listened together. All the acts I, II, III, IV and V so far are part of a 6 piece long concept, telling a tragic story of a man from birth to death. No matter how he tries to fix things, they always take a turn to the worse. It's a really interesting project as a whole. The band name refers to how his mother used to call him, "Dear Hunter". The latest two albums have by far the most updated and full sound, followed by ACT III. Acts one and two are still kinda lower production/looking for the unique Dear Hunter sound but still have some gems in them :) Enjoy! (It's a trap, you won't get enough... :D)
Bassett I second A Night on the Town. It's extremely beautiful, one of their longest songs, and so joyful. Still, since that one is also from this album, maybe you could do a reaction from another album once you do A Night on the Town lol Since you liked the solo in here, one song I'd recommend is A Sea of Solid Earth from The Color Spectrum.
Pllllease do more of these guys. Funny enough they are my favorite band and Between the Buried and Me is a close second. As another commentor mentioned they toured recently and co-released a 7" split covering each other's songs. Just like Between the Buried and Me, these guys can play any genre you can name. If you want a real mind bender on their versatility: listen to Mr. User (On his Way to Town) off of Act V.
Reactaroo Skidoo they weren't until recently and they both desperately wanted to tour together and finally got to so then I guess that both covered a song of each others on an ep.
Honestly I haven't listened to any of them. I have been in school for the past 3 years (graduated now) so I was not listening to as much music as I should have been. I am an audio engineer so I have spent a ton of time mixing music so I didn't feel much like sitting back and listening to anything. I am trying to make up for it though! I don't have anything in line for a video for tomorrow so get that suggestion in there bud!
Reactaroo Skidoo ruclips.net/video/sh5mWzKlhQY/видео.html you've got a kid or 2 and I have 4 so this one might be alittle emotional but this is Steven Wilson "Routine" music video(He's the lead singer of Porcupine Tree). And also I work with alot of sound engineers cause I do Pyrotechnics and work with stage, light, sound etc.
Check Mr Invisible by Thank you Scientist, that song it's great. From the hunter I've only heard the Act V but the solo in this song and the song itself were great, what albums do you recommend?

Chaz Dean I'll shoot for another from these guys this week!
Reactaroo Skidoo That would be sick.
My favorite band from last year
Best band ever!! You'd do yourself and huge favor by locking yourself away and checking out the rest of their stuff
Mitchell Colvin I know I'd love it! But I wanna get a few more reactions out of them before becoming obsessed!
@@ReactarooSkidoo honestly just react to the whole discography in 1 long video, id watch it

You realize the song title is similar to a Pink Floyd song. "Is There Anybody Out There?"

3:00 when a musician forgets what syncopation is lol

Bassett I actually refrained from listening to the whole album because I want to get one more reaction video from these guys!

The chord progression was a lot like time.
The chorus of this song sounds similar to “Time” from the dark side of the moon by Pink Floyd
Yes!!

You know whats funny? Between the buried and me and deer hunter both did studio covers of 1 of each others songs on an ep.
That is crazy. I had no idea that these two bands were in anyway connected!

Dang it. I get emotional a bit more than I should. I will react to it tomorrow!
React to “Gloria” by them. Another great song for you to react to

I'll let you know of an album after I hear you song! for now, I really enjoy this video! ruclips.net/video/USgGfOk6yQI/видео.html
