From what I understand, you take the Rarity of the item, and then the %more likely to get it while making the map which makes it's base chance go up. Then you think about how many people probably submitted Mageblood as the reward for their map, and then you have a pool of like 1000 items and like 750 of them are Mageblood with higher than normal % chance for the map to be one. From what I am seeing though (from watching all these streamers and unboxing videos) its around a 3-5% chance to get a Mageblood map
I opened about 50 of these this league and most expensive items I saw were watchers eye (server crashed when I was doing that map) and impossible escape...this video actually made me angry...
The agony cort map is basicly impossible and worth nothing. Feared and union of souls is already tough as nails but you also have to be semi naked and solo. Noone is going to clear that (aside from maybe Ben?). It's not that lucky.

Just if anyone was wondering. It is pretty industry standard to have someone keeping track of popular content creators, searching up their account via a character name from their content, and applying a buff to their drop tables via an XML edit. It is the worst in games like Genshin with the card draws. It follows the same logic as putting the most winning slot machines near the doors or major thoroughfares in Casinos. The extent of the buff is different from company to company and they don't bother to tell anyone as they don't want the backlash or the content creators to even be aware of it for the same reason. My friend's wife used to work for Bethesda before she passed away and she went to a lot of industry functions where she asked if this was the case. It was always the money people that said yes but the normal devs were unaware if it was happening.
Valdo's Puzzle Boxes and their consequences have been a disaster for the Mageblood economy. I wonder if Chris is going to adjust the drop rate for next league, but it was interesting to see how Mageblood actually dropped below the price of Headhunter for the first time ever... for a few days until shooting back up in price for whatever reason. Still dirt cheap in comparison to previous leagues, but interesting. If it meant I got to have my endgame fun faster though, who am I to complain? If anyone wants to taste what a MB is like, this is the league to do it!
Valdo's definitely contributed to the MB price drop, but I think it also helped that this league heavily revolved around juicing rare mobs, so HH benefited even further
i mean, this is a belt introduced seven leagues ago, nothing bad will happen if it's cheap for one league. And that "cheap" is still a fucking 3-figure price in divines. Go buy your TFT mirrored phys bow if you're that madge about it.

So it’s not always this good guys. I sold my HH and tried 160 div of these. Failed hard. Best thing i got was Progenesis.
