- The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party is mourning the death of its member Simon Peter Aleper of the Central Executive Committee (CEC), the party’s top decision-making organ.
Hon Aleper died in an accident in Iganga District on the Mbale-Jinja Highway in the morning hours of Tuesday.
Aleper was representing the Karamoja region on the NRM CEC.
