Playing For Change (PFC) is a movement created to inspire and connect the world through music, born from the shared belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. The primary focus of PFC is to record and film musicians performing in their natural environments and combine their talents and cultural power in innovative videos called Songs Around The World. Creating these videos motivated PFC to form the Playing For Change Band-a tangible, traveling representation of its mission, featuring musicians met along their journey; and establish the Playing For Change Foundation-a separate 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to building music and art schools for children around the world. Through these efforts, Playing For Change aims to create hope and inspiration for the future of our planet.

I was lying in hospital 2008 wen I turned on t.v. and lo and behold. ...SEAL came on. Singing. This very same number..I was 74 and had shingles. I thought I was as low as it could get. . But wen Seal got thru with me that .ite. I knew I'd make it ok...this the 1sr time I've felt that way since...this song got something inspiring but I've nvr heard it but those 2x that made me feel shivers and tears in my eyes. I needed that today. I'm gonna make it. InshAllah
One of my dad's favorite songs. He always played it at night on the porch. He passed away today and I decided to play this song in his memory. Love you dad ❤️ 💙 💜 💖

I found my band.
Damn, I love this, I am a white old guy but everyday I become more convince that Black Americas are going to save us with there love, soul, joy and common sense.
Call me crazy but I'm sitting here bawling feeling the passion come from their hearts. Thank you Lord for giving this people the amazing talent that they get to share with the world.

At 59 years old I think that this is one of the most powerful and emotional songs ever recorded and this version has to be the best, I love the voices and the rhythm thanks PFC.

I lost my teacher, best friend, partner, inspiration, and sweet husband of 36 years this year. Change comes both good and bad, it comes to everyone, everyday of our lives. I feel less lost with each passing day. Only the strong survive. So they say.
