Emily joined longtime friend, American freeskier Michelle Parker, on her latest adventure, taking Michelle out of her comfort zone on La Esfinge, "The Sphinx," in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru. Trading ski poles for cams and ski boots for climbing shoes, Parker attempts to power through the 20 pitches of sustained climbing above 17,000 feet of elevation that make up the Pervuian Alpine face. Performing under pressure is second nature for Michelle on her skis, but this is a new challenge entirely, where blind trust and self confidence will prove to be absolute necessities in order to make it to the summit.
