3:41 It funny how the damage he takes from his own combo is Higher than a normal Yuel combo E eu odeio essa matchup pqp, mais de 60 partidas na casual e nunca veio esse corno pra mim aprender, eu pego rank S na ranked, começa a cair. Chega a ser engraçado
2:58 I'm new, so excuse me, but how is he reaching a 59 chain combo without reaching the combo limit? He's able to do 70% HP damage in one chain, while Yuel still has 3 BP. That feels a bit unfair.
Avatar Belial's combos are just insanely long. But for his crazy long and incredibly damaging combos, he also takes damage whenever he uses some of his specials, IIRC his EX ones and ultimate ones cost HP, as does canceling into his unique. And the cost adds up. The combo you pointed out at that time stamp drains him from like 30% to a pixel of health, and it would've drained even more if he had more HP to spare (in the later rounds, you even see him lose close to half of his own health doing his high damaging combos). That led to him being in a situation where he can't even block a wake up DP without dying to chip damage anymore, so he backs off and doesn't continue his pressure afterward and tries to find another clean hit instead, but then loses in the scramble because Yuel can just throw specials at him and if he doesn't outright dodge them he loses.
@@Pentaoku I didn't know about his specials costing health, but that definitely explains why he's allowed to extend his combo's for so long. :) Thanks for the detailed writeup btw! Especially the part about him walking back to avoid a wake up DP was something that I hadn't even noticed ^^
Crouching only combo and it's the only way for him to do that damage. Other characters can do the same thing to him with way less effort. Notice how he still died after since he does half that damage to himself. It's a huge gimmick if it doesn't kill.
From the dustloop wiki: "Combo Limit Combo limit is a juggle limit mechanic based on a points system that prevents air infinites. The points only start counting after the opponent has become airborne. If the opponent is already airborne, the first hit will not count towards the point limit. Every character has 11 points of limit. When at any point the combo reaches (or exceeds) the threshold, the next hit will trigger the Combo limit, forcing the combo to stop. The Universal values are as follows:" Combo points 2L, c.L, j.L, 2H, c.XX, c.XXX, 3 points All Other Normals not Listed 2 points Raging Strike 1 point Raging Chain 0 point Specials Move dependent, usually 2 or 3 Supers 0 points
Not really. Abel player here. He is easy to play but difficult to play efficiently at higher levels. He can't afford to make mistakes given how squishy he is. And he kills himself by playing the game to boot.
Cant believe this is only 3 weeks ago. Sushi has gotten so much better since then, he's almost unrecognizable compared to this replay.
i have been trying to link the follow up of the special move in 07:02 to the jab but it always drop ;c is that a frame perfect link or something?
The combo only works on crouching opponents, that's probably the issue
@@458stanley This is correct, its a cr combo. If you try to link it while they're standing its not true.
@@458stanley oooh thanks a bunch, i'm gonna try it
thanks!
Slime 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍, o homem está devolta 😍😍😍
2:59 Tragic
Bro has no combo limit💀
Avatar combos long af
it only starts ticking once the opponent is juggled so if you can keep them on the ground for a long time in your combo, you can cook
What is ost ??

The combo limit is counted after it is in the air. The character who can connect many combos on the ground will have longer combos.

That Yuel is not awful.
A Belial looks really hard to play
he also has less health than other chars and kills himself to do combos lol this is why hes stuck at that rank
Technically? Not really, his combos are super easy. The problem is learning how to confirm without blowing yourself up.
