This happened to me too!!!!! I spoke on an article about housing and the changes since covid and how accessible housing is, I spoke on the housing system and I got ghosted and cut. It's WEIRD what 'they' want to hide from the people.
I've been interviewed four times so far. Only two ever aired. They'll tell you it was cut for time, or that other news displaced it; those are their "we didn't get the spin we support" excuses. If CBC is taxpayer funded I'd advise you to pursue it by all governmental means. edit: I recorded both of my studio interviews. I advise that you do the same in the future if you fid not. They are less likely to edit you into sounding like a lunatic if you have a record.
First thing you should realize is that they do 100's of interviews that never see the light of day. Doesn't have to mean it's malicious. They could have gotten the same info from 20 people and that would be stupid to air all 20 interviews. Quick questions, Did they air or publish a story on the topic? Did you provide sources for the information you gave in the interview? If not it's possible they couldn't confirm your numbers or found contradictory numbers when doing their JOURNALISTIC duty to research stories they air or publish.
I was talking to someone about this today. In fact many Americans are also complaining about the same problems inflation, high cost of housing, cost of living etc. So this problem is not unique to Canada. In terms of car theft Google total number of car thefts in the state of California and Texas your jaw will drop when you see the numbers. I agree Trudeau has to go 100% but it makes me wonder what if another political party was in power with another leader would these same problems exist ? I think they would, but I would still like to see Trudeau and the Liberals go.

My daughter just got her license and she can’t afford the insurance the guy said because of all the immigrants and car theft we have to put the price between 4K to 10K a year!
Because of all the new immigrants buying Honda, Toyota, Hyundai and getting into accidents the insurance companies can’t keep up with the payments and then add the car theft

The news is only what they want you to know, they don't simply report the facts in total. They are selective.
My home and auto insurance went up by 35%. This is a failure of the system.
