@@RaidSixman I’m ngl, I played the 360 version too when it came out and I was like 11 or 12 and that shit was FIREEEE; I went to play catalyst and it just didn’t hit the same tbh. Something about the og map’s atmosphere, music, and overall vibe just isn’t the same in the second tbh. Maybe I’m just blinded by nostalgia or something but catalyst just didn’t scratch my brain the same way as the OG
I like what I've played of Catalyst, but it definitely doesn't have the same atmospheric vibe as the original, but I do like it. I guess that's why I said it's good and has the same gameplay feel. I still like the expanded combat and the way they smoothed some of the control issues out. I should have mentioned that it definitely doesn't have the same ambient vibe of the original in the review.
I remember playing this several years ago on PS3 and going for all the trophies. I had to beat it on hard mode and beat it without using weapons (2 separate trophies). I decided to go for both trophies at once... I did it, but not without shortening my lifespan. For one day I may have been the best Mirrors Edge player of all time if not the angriest, lol!
Great video dude! Nice seeing RUclips actually recommend unknown stuff. I remember beating Mirror's Edge on the 360 a few times before I re-did it on PC lol. Sucks about the music claim, my favorite track is "Shard - Puzzle" love it to death. HELL YEAH Unreal Tournament! I'd say you need more subscribers, but then you wouldn't be a "nobody" would you?
Lol. I guess I wouldn't be a Nobody. You're right. I guess I could still be a Nobody with subscribers. The Shard puzzle, and Kate Puzzle are my favorites. I used to go back and play those levels just to hear the music and take in the sights with the music
Great review. I bought a copy of this game a few months back. It's currently in the backlog but I'll get around to it eventually. It's funny, how you felt about the 7th gen is pretty much how I feel about the current gen of gaming. The short length of this game doesn't bother me at all. That's one of my gripes about modern games today. Some games just seem to be so focused on being as big and as long as they possibly can be. I actually wish we got more shorter and tightly crafted experiences like this more often. I don't have the same amount of time to play games as much as I used to, so it would be nice if we had more games that respected the player's time and wasn't just trying to be a huge time sink. I've never had a problem with short games before, but these days I greatly appreciate them even more. And I agree I liked Bioshock 2 as well. The first game is still my favorite one, but 2 wasn't bad either (I also liked Infinite). And for a tacked on multiplayer, Bioshock 2's multiplayer was actually surprisingly fun.
I always wanted to go deep in old gaming but i never had time to do that, to figure which game are actually worth of time but your channel is literally goldmine cant wait for other reviews =) also im modder of the games and rn working on global mod for 5 years. can i write you later to make a honest review for my mod?
@Cruor You are welcome. If I can get people to reminisce about games they loved, and then go back and play those games, I've done my job. I love sharing my passion for gaming with others
Another solid review. Love ME. Still have my 360 copy. Loved the Hell out of that game. I'm a Single player enthusiast.
Need to find a copy of Catalyst. Never gave the game a shot.

Lol. Yes, some of those scenes can be incredibly frustrating on a no-bullet run. That's why I was just like, nope, you all die now!

11:25 What a work of art that is!
That intro felt so nostalgic.
Nostalgia is my goal with this channel m, outside of reviewing games that is.
