I live in the Adirondacks and have recently been looking into starting van life myself, camping in this area all year round is very easy thanks to the area being rich in natural resources and I am excited to start my own off grid journey soon
Nice spot! What town(s) were you camped at in the Adirondacks? What waterbody were you camped at? Also, had to smile as that’s us camping too- we continuously find lots of tight spots. We love the Adirondacks, especially Fish Creek/Rollins Pond SP! Lots and lots of hiking to be found there! Loved the ferry footage too!
New sub here. Came across your channel via your Instagram! Planning to be full time by this time next year. Looking forward to watching your future content. Keep going
Good way to cook over the fire without cast iron is to just make stakes made from sticks and stick whatever you're cooking on the end. Then place the stakes around a large Dakota fire hole or just around a campfire.

We were camping up by Paul Smiths which is a tiny tiny town.
The lake was Jones Pond actually!
There is sooooo much to do! But it sure was chilly!
