Can I bind the Duet to my NX8? By the way, absolutely love all your reviews! The house and property is looking good, and I wish you would do more Flex Innovation reviews!
Great vid Brian. Megan has nerves of steel - that one pass between y’all appeared to be inches away, and she didn’t even flinch! I’m considering this for a buddy’s kid for Christmas, although he may be a little young yet, at 5. Your thoughts? Make sure that pond has enough length for a 2.0m plane on floats, in the prevailing wind direction! How exciting! Also - it’s been a month since Grandpa Gary published anything; anyone know if he’s okay? 🙏
The PANIC button? I'm very sorry, but haven't used that plane in some time (very sorry I can't remember). If you really want to know, there's a trick - If you click on our link, in the video description (or here bprc.me/Duet ) and then scroll down, you can find the MANUAL for the plane. Should get you answers in these strange circumstances where I just have no idea. Thanks for the question, and sorry I couldn't remember.
Can the duet be bound to a hobbygrade spektrum like a late model dx6 or nx? Personally , they should have used the two motors from the ultrix to update its performance
Pretty sure it's SLT protocol, rather than "dual protocol", like the Apprentice STOL 700mm, which would mean you COULD use a DSMX Tx, like an older Dx lineup.
Would you recommend this, or a sub-$100 warbird from Banggood as a first plane? If it needed to be $100 or under. Or the Volantex 500 Cub. I’m between that and this. Thank you for the great content!
i had the duet and it was an excellent plane, you can fly the duet indoors, however it does struggle in higher winds where a warbird may preform better or 500 cub may preform better. based off my experience and this video id say the duet is the best option however if your looking for a better looking/faster plane id go for a warbird and if your going for something a little sporty or more of an STOL/Bushplane id go for the 500 cub. hope this helps!
Omg Brian between this one and the SR71 Horizon Hobby has truly reached a new low. If they are trying to lose customers, there doing a great job. My goodness they need to start spending some real money on licensing and building some Quilty planes and getting these other dealers from passing them up... Motion Rc hint hint. I know no reflection on you and Meg but I think you know what I'm saying. Thanks for allowing my rant..
Which model do you recommend for a true beginner, that’s never flown RC before, and lives in a very rural area without any experienced pilots to teach them?
If your going Horizon Hobby I would go with the carbon cub. Good high wing and good stability system and GPS. If we as nice Brian might do us a second look on that one.
A very good firday morning to you all in the USA from Wellington Somerset in the UK 🇬🇧
even us old farts can have with it looks like a fun plane to play around the yard great flight and great video camera crew ☺👍👍👍
Oh my. What's that on the dining room table? Can't wait to see that bad boy skimming the new pond!! 👍
Ooh a pond is going in. How cool. For aesthetic reasons? Fishing? I see rc boats in your future as well as a drop zone for planes to bomb below.
Looks very fun. I’m gonna try to get one from Amazon.

What is a good battery to use on this rc airplane? Should I use an Eflite battery or can I try a different brand one?
This is what we recommend in the video description...

Also would love to see a 50mm 4s f18 blue angels.
Thems some teeeeeeny propellers! Denise thinks it’s cute. I find that it challenges my manhood. Do you think I need therapy?
