@@toddmckay5013 thank you. I have a review for the new model and talk about the height of the machine. @@Kong_WR Powertec’s newest Leg Ext. / Leg Curl attachment has at least one additional setting to make it fit taller individuals better (my model has 3 settings). You may already know this / do this, but with the older model leg ext attachment, I tell people to raise the seat a notch or two and / or elevate the front feet of the bench with a 2 x 4 if you are on the taller side.
@@robnoxious7637 that is a good idea. Luckily, when the lat pulldown attachment is connected into the utility bench connector, it doesn’t impact adjusting the Multipress bench settings on the Multisystem. Further, that would give you a cable and lever pulldown. I had the Leg Press Attachment connected to the Multipress for a few months and it didn’t get in the way.
@@TEERIO96 I prefer a 1:1 ratio…my streamline functional trainer is 2:1 when both cables are being used and 4:1 when only one cable is being used. For example, if I’m doing Tricep Pushdowns on one side, I might need 140 pounds on the stack.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews all good and great video overall!! I know their leg press is a pretty popular piece, so I assumed they would have a combo piece in development.
@@pathtooptimalhealth they have their 25kg bumper plates. I’m not sure they’ll manufacture 25kg metal plates. I can say something when I talk to them again, but even before that, I’m sure a team member will read the comments and see your request.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews thanks… It’s one of the things that have kept me from a Powertec purchase (their rack specifically), as I would like to get everything from one place. 25kg plates are my go-to plates at the gym, quite practical. Think of it this way… Stateside people are used to having their ‘2plates’ for a 225 lb bench Here in Europe we get (close to) that with 2 of our 20kg plates. 2 sets of 25kg is 120kg (add 2.5kg collars) and you get a smooth 125kg / 275 lb total. Point is that extra 5kg adds up quickly as you can see, and combining the 20s and 25s is a no brainer as well☺️ (240 lbs - 260s range) Apologies for the ramble… congrats on the trip out there!

There are quite a few options: I really like the Squatwedgies Squat Wedge I put on my Leg Press and Compact Leg Sled (I have RUclips Shorts showing what I’m talking about). It also works great on the Levergym because it’s not metal on metal.
I’m really considering getting the levergym - do you happen to know if any other upcoming powertec products will be an updated version of the levergym?
@@BreezyNinteyOne I’m sorry, I don’t. If you’re considering getting a Levergym, I would get one.
Hey Man , a really cool Video at First.
I just tested the Beltsquat on the FIBO this Year , and the Belt was perfekt .
But there is one Question , when ist the Belt ready to Sell on the Website ?
Do you got more Informations?
Greetings ✌🏻
@@emmosascha3751 thank you. I’m glad you had a chance to test it. I thought the belt was comfortable too and it sounds like a lot of people shared that Feedback with Powertec at Fibo.
As for a release date, I’m not sure Powertec has a specific date in mind, but I hope it’s soon.
Pretty cool man
@@tbx59 thanks so much.
Notice you don’t have their weight plates - correct?
I’m curious the accuracy of their plates.
ie, Rouge is -/+ 3%
kinda a lot of potential to be off
ie.
Take 120kg using 4 25kg plates and 20kg bar…
…can be up to 5kg/11 lb off potentially)
Of course ipf approved plates have to be no more than -/+ 10g off
(big difference than the 3%)
Can you find out what Powertecs accuracy tolerance range is?
Couldn’t find it on their site.
Thanks😊
@@pathtooptimalhealth my dad passed down all of his plates to me, which is the only reason I don’t have Powertec’s plates. I’d certainly get them if I didn’t have all the plates I do. I can send an email, but it’s likely a 3-4 day weekend for many companies. If I were you, I would also send a message to their customer service team. Let me know if you hear first.
i hope powertec will integrate a squat safety stopper on the levergym like the rapt of brute force
@@Blitz88ITA I use an additional safety pin from the Multipress and / or Leg Press Attachment. Before I got those machines, I had a post/pipe I got off an old Soloflex that fit perfectly in the ROM Plates.
Did they have any plans to fix the height issue on the smith machine?
@@RonMexico527 I shared my thoughts with them on that model so they are definitely aware of it.
Any ETA on when the belt squat is coming out?
@@vageliekaratzas3488 unfortunately, I don’t know for certain; I think Rob may have mentioned an early 2025 release.
Thanks for your channel, I look forward to your future videos. At the same time, I make my own gym equipment, and if you are interested, I would love to send you some to review on your channel. Please let me know and I can go over in detail what type of gym tools I make.
I have the bench with leg attachment, i just wish the rollers where height adjustable for shorter or taller people.
There's no adjustment for the roller pads 🙃
Hope you will also visit Ironmaster HQ 😉
@@jmk.3943 a few years ago, Ironmaster invited me out. A great group of guys there too.

Nice! So the multi system with lat pull down attachment would be best?
@@robnoxious7637 that is a good idea. Luckily, when the lat pulldown attachment is connected into the utility bench connector, it doesn’t impact adjusting the Multipress bench settings on the Multisystem. Further, that would give you a cable and lever pulldown.
I had the Leg Press Attachment connected to the Multipress for a few months and it didn’t get in the way.
Nice
@@bdog98765 thank you!
Any idea when tha belt squat will be released?
@@nathanweston4120 unfortunately, I don’t know for certain, but if I had to guess, it will be at the end of this year or early 2025.
Keep the videos coming. Did powertec pay for your tattoo?
@@reddragonsubliminal6440 thank you. No, that was all me. They had no idea I was even going to do it.
Well deserved
@@williamaustin6132 Thank you, WA! We have been in touch almost since the start of HGHR and I greatly appreciate your support over the years.
@@williamaustin6132 that is really awesome of you to say. Thank you.
I wonder why they went 1:1 ratio on the deluxe functional trainer.
@@TEERIO96 I prefer a 1:1 ratio…my streamline functional trainer is 2:1 when both cables are being used and 4:1 when only one cable is being used. For example, if I’m doing Tricep Pushdowns on one side, I might need 140 pounds on the stack.
There should be a headrest for 45 degree leg press
@@trapps75 I think anyone who is 6’ and under will have their head supported on the back pad. Taller than that, your head will likely hang over.
Did you see any new leg press/hack squat combo machines?
@@andie_pl I am really sorry, but I can’t talk about any of the pieces beyond what I show in this video. I hope you understand.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews all good and great video overall!! I know their leg press is a pretty popular piece, so I assumed they would have a combo piece in development.
@@andie_pl greatly appreciated!
Please tell them to make 25kg metal plates 😊
@@pathtooptimalhealth they have their 25kg bumper plates. I’m not sure they’ll manufacture 25kg metal plates. I can say something when I talk to them again, but even before that, I’m sure a team member will read the comments and see your request.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews thanks…
It’s one of the things that have kept me from a Powertec purchase (their rack specifically),
as I would like to get everything from one place.
25kg plates are my go-to plates at the gym, quite practical.
Think of it this way…
Stateside people are used to having their ‘2plates’ for a 225 lb bench
Here in Europe we get (close to) that with 2 of our 20kg plates.
2 sets of 25kg is 120kg (add 2.5kg collars) and you get a smooth 125kg / 275 lb total.
Point is that extra 5kg adds up quickly as you can see,
and combining the 20s and 25s is a no brainer as well☺️
(240 lbs - 260s range)
Apologies for the ramble… congrats on the trip out there!
@@pathtooptimalhealth thanks so much. I definitely understand wanting brand uniformity.
Powertec always seems like a gimmicky company to me but after watching tons of your videos I think they actually make some really good pieces.
@@ak-zw8jv thank you so much and I’m really glad to hear it.
Wait are they not bringing back the power Lever P? That machine was the best for standing curls
@@timhall1529 never had a chance to use that machine.
Rob Riches is fired 😮 You've sold way more Powertec gear than him 😊
@@eddiebaby22 lol! I saw last week how hard Rob works - he runs circles around me.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews No way, you're the man for the sales now ;) Keep up the great work. It's excellent gear in all fairness and no limit to the imagination for getting as good a workout as any complete commercial gym but at home.
@@eddiebaby22 very well said with, “no limit to the imagination for getting a good workout;” Powertec has got to have the most versatile and hackable equipment there is…probably why I like them so much.
Price very high
@@gudukhan6604 I think the Levergym is competitively priced because you’re getting a bench, lever arms, and a high/low cable system.
They should at least try and make up their own design for the belt squat. I’m sure they will implement other features but at least make it powertec lol. Looks like a knockoff rhino
@@andrewkara4 I think the one shown at Fibo falls more in line with Powertec’s style, but I can certainly see some similarities…I’m just glad it’s not a lever-based belt squat.
You're way too young to have an old man back
@@michaelderenne9838 I initially injured my back on a Hack Squat machine. Luckily, my back doesn’t cause me problems unless I perform certain exercises like barbell squats, deadlifts, barbell rows, etc.
