Do you have a clip showing re assembling injector pump drive gear housing back on block. (timing method). its a big mistery ,is there a master tool to set up the pump drive shaft ??

With regards to modifying the injector inlets, the answer is no, I have found I have never needed to do that, I have however, fitted heavy duty batteries and starter motors and have found that was enough - let me know how you get on, always interested in other peoples projects and problem solving

I was at the stage of dismantle and o'hauling the idler gear shaft .

when you refer to setting at TDC which piston do you refer to (4)?
Tdc on number 1 cylinder on the compression stroke
