      Do you mean that JIMMY PAGE WHO HELD LORI MADDOX CAPTIVE AT AGE 13. ( Too young to give consent, the child must be at least 16 to not be prosecuted. How sick is that?

    Whoever doubts Jimmy Page as a live guitarist, well know this from 1969 to1975 no one could touch Page in his live performances

    I've seen this in 1990 on MTV. When the Remasters Box came out it was the first time after the split that something Zep got released. There's always been tons of compilations and live stuff from other bands but next to nothing from them. The fact that this was broadcast a long ten years after the split but it's 20 years gone from now dazzles me. And JPJones at 4'20" still cracks me up.

    i like how it included some footage of Knebenworth 1979 the very last concert Zeppelin ever played with Bonham....but the sad part about that show was plants voice was way out of wack ...but after they seperated plants voice came back with a fury in the 80s and 90s ....and of course you get to the 2000s were his voice in my opinion is the greatest voice in ROCK N ROLL HISTORY LONG LIVE ZEPPELIN!!!!!!!

    You can't see it on the video here, but in higher def clips you see that Jimmy's black shirt has a skull embroidered very subtly in the fabric. Which is classic. I'm a Zep fanatic, and I should probably say something more substantial than that, but I just thought I'd mention it. I used to watch this MTV special all the time and loved it. A favorite moment was when Jimmy mocked the critics, saying how what he was doing went right over their heads. Check my channel for good raw blues, btw...

    @ZoSoRecords i think this is really 1990. That was the year the Remasters thing just came out, and this documentary (or "rockumentary-as MTV used to call them) was in the promotional bussiness. I like the way they had edited this, is very enjoyable for me... it's just made me think how great was that band... Zeppelin, oh My god!!!

  • @ggriff

    To all the people agreeing with this - you're only half right. They actually did "borrow" a lot of their early songs, half the first album is either covers or variations of - guess what - blues songs written by old black guys. "You Shook Me" and "I Can't Quit You Baby" were both written by willie dixon. Led Zeppelin is the best fucking band ever and they wrote some of the best songs of all time. So do your research before you defend this great band with falsities, it does them no justice. \m/

    Haters are just jealous. Always picking on led zepp, there are other bands out there who are more notorious than led zepp, they just won't waste their time on them becuz they are not as famous and musically genius like the zepp. That's why all they do is dig old issues for them to be notice.

    music television. it used to play music. nowadays rock radio plays 4 songs each by: led zeppelin, the eagles, boston, lynyrd skynrd. 3 each by the who, the stones, styx, foreigner, 2 each by steve miller, zz top, u2, genesis, yes. Variety is not the spice of ClearChannell.

  • @crazymanwhois
    @crazymanwhois 12 лет назад

    @darknessgodzamorak You can't say they didn't "borrow" - but your point about everyone "borrowing" is valid. All the bluesmen stole from one another - but they also didn't make shit tons of money off the music.

    And If anyone snorted the amount of cocaine Zep did, they would be dead!
    we never had to worry about guns in schools in the late 60s early 70s.. we do now
    Times have changed, Jimmy took songs and re-Invented them.
    things that have been done, cannot be undone

    Search RUclips for "Zeppelin Plagarism" Show me anything of this magnatude for any other band. Be a fanboy if you want. Even Plant admits "musical thievery."

  • @MojoWorkinBut
    @MojoWorkinBut 11 лет назад

    What was different was that Led Zeppelin did not credit their sources, like The Stones, Beatles, the Who, Clapton and others did. They just took the money and ran.

  • @MojoWorkinBut
    @MojoWorkinBut 11 лет назад

    You obviously choose to be a fanboy, and that's OK. But you obviously refuse to look at all the evidence.Hear no evidence, see no evidence, ignore all evidence. I like Zep. But if I did what they did, I might be in jail, not having their resources. Why does the truth offend you. You examples of other bands are incorrect and/or minor compared to Zep's behavior. Being great musicians does not make them good people.
