one of the reason i like London weather is for the fact your wardrobe can have so many different types of jacket. u can have light weight or heavy jackets and they will all get used
That's the jacket I've been looking for, I'm a 3rd generation farmer in south Texas and in winter time it gets very cold, I'm always outside day and night I've been using a jacket from Australia b
I am fortunate to have the IH N1 and A2. Both fantastic jackets and would never want to choose one over the other, but if I had to, it would probably be the N1 only because it feels and looks more luxurious than the A2. Also, I do have other jackets with a similar look to the A2.
I found and bought An A-2 Flight Jacket from CVN-6? 8 (the first number looks like a six to me but it’s a little faded!) (CVN-68 is the USS Nimitz? Correct me if I’m wrong!) V-4 059 V-4 018 (From top to bottom!) it’s from 1980, I bought it at my local thrift store! I believe $15-$20? That was about what two years ago by now? It’s in perfect condition and I wear it sometimes. It’s a perfect fit for me too! I wear it with my Patrol Cap from 1990, all the time!
I have both of those Jackets .. Both jackets are not meant for layering to my understanding. Both are great for the fall and winter months . The sizing can get weird with Iron heart that’s the only thing you need to pay attention to. Sizing differs from jacket to jacket . You may be a Lg in one style and be an XL or XXL in another . The measurements are specific to each Iron heart product .
Could you speak to the collar on the A2 a little more? The strange neck line with the collar seems to be too big to fit some peoples neck properly. Did you find this to be an issue with the small?
i like pauls jacket a tad more but wouldn't mind any they both look amazing. you could tell they are reproduction of jackets when things were made well. sadly they are over priced
You're comparing apples and oranges. The deck jacket is made for inclimate weather, extreme weather conditions which the army jacket is made for milder weather, hence the lack of water repellent and durable materials and insulation.
And, the winner is..... whichever one you are wearing. Both, great jackets!
Absolutely!

Something to be said about a versatile wardrobe
Often all in the same day
That is also possible for sure@@marcfischetti5490
@@marcfischetti5490Yes, San Francisco is similar in that respect

Being in SoCal, A2 seems more practical for me. Doesn’t look as warm and is more low key. Which one is more bad ass? N1 hands down.
Waiting for my Black Bear Brand/Y2 collab leather N1... I can't wait

Absolutely… the N1 is the nicest jacket out there!
When it comes to jackets the best is to trying different sizes

Totally agree!
Hands down N-1 jacket. I have the iron and resin nautilus jacket, there N-1 version and for under 300 bucks is killer.
Good choice!!
Great review, thank you. N1 deck jacket it is.
Good choice!
I like both but my first will be N1
Me too! The N1 is at higher price point as well
N1 all the way
Yes, it really is a beautiful jacket!
what is Pauls Hat from?!?!?! I need!!!
It’s from Mister Freedom! Also check out our “trucker hat” episode!

No, not at all. The neck construction is perfect! Iron Heart knows what they’re doing.

They are at a high price point but, the design and manufacturing is just so darn great!
I don’t know buddy I have both 😂
Cover all your bases!
