I think I most enjoy the personal opinions expressed as the best part of your
content. The discussion of Little Round Top is a perfect example of this. If possible, could you and your guest(s) someday discuss Troy Harmon's premise that the "Copse of Trees" wasn't the actual target of the third day? Controversial, but that's what your programs are perfect for.

Thanks for setting the record straight! I'm so sick of hearing that if the Confederates got Little Round Top the war would have ended "right there".

We did an episode with Scott Hartwig on Patreon about the Copse of Trees controversy. Don’t recall when but it was at least a year ago. Also don’t remember the title of the episode but it’s up there somewhere.

I have been to Gettysburg 5 times, but if the Confederate Memorials come down, I will not visit again.

I've never been and if they come down I never will. I finally had the money to take a motorcycle trip from Kentucky to Gettysburg this summer until this stupid virus stuff started. I refuse to go when the Rangers aren't doing battle walks . I looked forward to taking a tour with a fellow southerner Matt Adkinson but that got shut down so I didn't go

@@JohnnyRebKy If a national Military Park can't tell the whole story, many people will not be showing up as well. Tourism in Gettysburg will take a hit, not enough to shut it down, but it will take a hit.

Dont blame you that's some bs that it's even a discussion. Both sides of my family fought for the Union one of them fought at Gettysburg in the artillery. I'm a proud yankee and even I can see that the Confederates deserve and earned a place to be remembered there.

So you would deprive yourself of standing on historic ground, learning more about the battle and contributing to the local economy (which is run by people who overwhelmingly don’t want them to come down) all because the Lilly-liveried Feds cave to pressure? Way to scorch the earth.
