JFK's speeches and press conferences should be offered as part of high school (secondary school) and university curricula.
His timeless words are as relevant today as they ever were...

I agree. Very relevant still in today's world of 2021...early 21st Century USA and the globe.

most transparent and open administration in modern history. Kennedy was not afraid of criticism because he felt it made him better and he was smart enough to figure out how

Hans Fritz We will also never see Presidential Press Conferences like these again!!! Ironically, President Kennedy's successor, President Lyndon Baines Johnson, if I'm not mistaken, never gave one televised Presidential Press Conference!!! President Kennedy's Press Conferences were filmed at the State Department Building Auditorium and were so open, airy, informative and entertaining!!! Today is the 56th Anniversary of the assassination of our late beloved President John F. Kennedy. I was 6 years old and in school, First Grade, when we received the terrible news. I will never forget it!!! Quote by PRESIDENT JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY ~ "Not every child has an equal talent or an equal ability or an equal motivation, but they should have the equal right to develop their talent and their ability and their motivation, to make something of themselves."

I know I’m 10 years late LOL but his second term would have probably been dominated by the civil rights movement and Vietnam just like LBJ Kennedy of course didn’t support the war but growing pressure probably would have forced his hand .. we’ll never know he definitely would have went out better than Johnson

@@ColdSid I agree and and both agree and disagree on two things I agre if he had a second turn and last it that long he would have gave civil rights and actually past it were I both agree and disagree is on the war I agree he was against the war but later get in the war but in more diplomatic way and cunsious way I don't think he would send our souldiers to do overseas with out having a cause and reason why we're their like they did in Vietnam or like they did in the war in Iraq I think John f kennedy won't escalate and drum beat for the war but he would go to war only if he had too just won't send kids to die with out given them the right training that's my believe

So confident, so poised, so informed, so well versed on what was going on in the country and the world. He had class, grace, wit, and humor, he was one of a kind. And one of the choices we have now is a complete opposite who has the support of about 70% of republican voters, what a shame!

a more effective use of intellect is upcoming folks...

Rick Barlow Former President Barry Obama is an Anti-American Globalist! He's to blame for the Democrat Party's shift to the extreme Left!!! Today is the 56th Anniversary of President John F. Kennedy's assassination. If President Kennedy were to come back to life, he would now be considered a Republican!!! Quote by PRESIDENT JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY ~ "Our goal is not the victory of might but the vindication of right; not peace at the expense of freedom, but both peace and freedom here in this hemisphere and around the world. God willing that goal will be achieved."

raul macias And the man baby you support(drumpf) is a moronic, lying dotard. He’s killing people with his stupidity. I would trade the orange idiot for President Obama or Kennedy in a heartbeat. Kennedy was not,nor would he ever be considered, a Republican. He was for Medicare, civil Rights, the arts, education, the environment, intelligence in government. Conservative on some things? Yes. But so what? He defended Liberalism, but also moderation. You can do both if you’re not too ridged like him.

@@raulmacias1311 so Barack Obama, who gave serious consideration to a grand bargain which would cut Social Security, who scheduled a trillion dollars in defense spending, who adopted healthcare reform originally designed by the Heritage Foundation in 1989, who made no serious effort to prosecute bankers who lead the nation into financial ruin, who expanded our footprint in Afghanistan and did not close Guantanamo base , was leading the Democratic Party to the left? Really? What politics are you watching? And if Kennedy were to come back today the last thing he would be is a Republican, especially the way the GOP is constructed now. Better check your scorecard on this.
