Gojira has had a huge influence on modern metal. Probably the most influential band since Metallica. Metallica listen to gojira. Bands like orbit culture spawned from gojira.
Morning guys!so freaking good! I have been to red rocks! It's beautiful! That must have been an amazing show! The acoustics between the rocks would be sick!! Very Kool! Great reaction ❤️🤘💯( it was a full moon the night I seen heilung at red rocks the sound and the vibe was a Kool trip)
I'm seeing Gojira for the 10th time in Massachusetts next month and I just saw them 10 months or so ago with Mastodon and Lorna Shore in Portland Maine Gojira put on the best shows I've ever seen They pour every ounce of energy into each song and being a drummer seeing Mario live is like watching an alien haha For having a smaller than usual kit for metal he makes it sound like a monster set up ✌️🤘🧐😎
This band is fire. 😮😮😮 those drums are banger. I'll definitely be adding this one to my playlist. Oh, how I wish I had an extra room outdoors in my backyard that I could turn into a music room so that I could play drums. People can dream right. Yes Yes. Ps: I just listened to the second time in the guitar riffs are killer badass.😮😮😮😮😮
Get an electric drum kit, you can plug in headphones, feed in songs from a computer, set up a bunch of custom sets/sounds, and play your heart out without disturbing anybody. I have 2 acoustic kits, 5 stand alone snare drums, and an electric set. I play the E-kit more than any because having 2 young kids has forced me to pretty much play at night once they're down for sleep. Funny enough, my neighbors have said they miss hearing drumming from my house.
I remember seeing Gojira opening for Behemoth in a small venue (the now-defunct) Station 4 club in St. Paul, Minnesota... and I was up close and banging to their tunes and had no idea how big they were gonna get... I did buy their '08 album 'The way of all flesh'... I'd seen them open a few shows... I know they opened for Slayer in 2013 while touring for their 2012 album "L'enfant sauvage" ... and it was a bigger club crowd. But what blew my mind was seeing the Mastodon/ Gojira tour in 2014 in Minneapolis... and as soon as Gojira hit the stage, the reaction was instant - pits from the word 'go'... I'd never seen that reaction to Gojira before and the crowd went crazy... chanting 'Gojira' between songs... It was like they blew up overnight... Then, their 2016 album 'Magma' went to #24 on the US charts (In 2008, their album 'The way of all flesh' charted at #138) Their latest album 'Fortitude' in 2021 charted at #12.
I definitely know renal..... been on dialysis for over 20 years now! And the drummer Mario Duplantier is not necessarily the leader..... that'd actually most likely fall on his brother Joe who is the lead singer and guitarist! 🤘🏼💙
Lots of arguments. John Bonham, Jeff Williams, Vinny Colaiuta, Ginger Baker, Gene Hoglan, Terry Bozio, Dave Lombardo, Bill Ward, Danny Carey, Buddy Rich…the list is long
Funny you say that, because there's another French band called Arcania that's a Progressive Thrash Metal band who I describe as "If Gojira made Thrash Metal" lol. I've gotten the Trash Talkers to react to 2 of their songs, "Dreams Are Dead" and their new single "What Will Remain". France has some fantastic Metal bands! 🤘🤘
Hi dears! Please react to "Falling in Reverse - Prequel"!! Just the best MV (or Movie?) and epic Song which was just released 2 days ago together with their new album.
This video is so cool. Red Rocks has got to be the coolest venues for a concert I've ever seen. Gojira is the coolest band I ever discovered. I'm late to the party at 61 but I'm a massive Gojira fan now. Pray is from the album Magma. The first one I ever bought. Love every track.
Monster band! Kaiju - (gesundheit 🤧)rock, man. Huge, epic. I gave a project of mine a Japanese movie monster's name too, so I'm totally down for more of them. Don't think I've heard them before, I've heard of them, but I'm sure I'd remember something like this. ✊🏼😎🎶❤️🍁❤️✨️🕊
Mastodon is another great progressive metal band with a fantastic drummer.. check out Hearts Alive, the climax of the album Leviathan which is the Moby Dick story
You should do Only Pain from that same show. It’s the opener and even more fire than this. It’s still daylight a little and you can see the rocks and venue. It’s spectacular
Hey Hollywood & Smokey R, I thought I'd suggest giving a listen to another wonderful duet, if interested. "Patti LaBelle - On My Own ft. Michael McDonald" (by the channel: Patti LaBelle) --This song was written and produced by the late great Burt Bacharach and his wife Carole Bayer-Sager and was released on Patti LaBelle's eighth studio album called "Winner In You" released in 1986. The original version was by Dion Warwick and if interested should also be reacted too. peace out~
They were the best thing in the Olympics opening hands down
The only reason the Olympics were remembered.
100%
That Olympic Opening Ceremony was demonic.
This could easily be the soundtrack of the universe being created.
Saw Gojira last year with Mastodon and Lorna Shore. One of the best concerts ever.
My wife and I saw them in Alpharetta.
It was unbelievable.
I saw that same lineup in St. Augustine last year as well, it was an awesome show!
Same. Saw them in OKC. What a great lineup!
I saw this tour too! It was awesome!
@@BecksDad93I was at that show as well. Also saw them in Chattanooga and Knoxville
Red rocks is a amazing experience. Born and raised in Colorado and grew up right next to red rocks in Morrison. Went to red rocks elementary.
Red Rocks and The Gorge. Both a must on the bucket list of venues.
Gojira, where have you been my whole life 😅🖤🤘
Gojira has had a huge influence on modern metal. Probably the most influential band since Metallica. Metallica listen to gojira. Bands like orbit culture spawned from gojira.
I would love to see Gojira live in New Zealand. Love the reactions, fellas 🔥

This whole performance at Red Rocks is top notch. Bet the reverb is amazing. Gotta see em there.
Can't wait to see them again in October mid-lining for Korn
Same! Catching them at The Woodlands.

4th street Station was a very fun venue
If Minneapolis loves you, we show it... and if we hate you, we show it too.
We’re going to see Korn later this year at the Woodlands and I’m equally stoked to see Spiritbox & Gojira for the first time.
Gojira in 28 years ,from the first step of the ladder to being the greatest metal band of the world in 2024
I definitely know renal..... been on dialysis for over 20 years now!

Yey more gojira 🖤
Love how when you say "tooodayyyy", i can imagine will ramos doing it. Lol
Yeah!!! More Gojira please 🤟🏼🔥🔥🔥
Liquid Tension Experiment - Acid Rain Live in L.A. (you will be blown away)
Drummer, light show and fire were incredible. Needed some head banging
Mario is one of the best drummers in metal. When you see them live, you can't take your eyes off of him.
❤❤❤best drummer ever. No arguments
My absolute fave drummer ever. I've been around 61 years, so I've heard a lot of drummers. Mario is my #1.
Lots of arguments. John Bonham, Jeff Williams, Vinny Colaiuta, Ginger Baker, Gene Hoglan, Terry Bozio, Dave Lombardo, Bill Ward, Danny Carey, Buddy Rich…the list is long
I was at that show!
I saw them in Atlanta last year with Lorna Shore and Mastodon! It was a great show.
Great reaction. There is another French band called Alcest. Very similar to Gojira, they are worth checking out.

@@BigHomieSteveTheMetalHead Check out a band called Alphenamer. Melodic death metal.
Can’t wait to see Gojira here in Atlanta next month with Korn and Spiritbox. I’ve seen them 3 or 4 other times and they always kill.
Hi dears! Please react to "Falling in Reverse - Prequel"!!
Just the best MV (or Movie?) and epic Song which was just released 2 days ago together with their new album.

Haha butch is my step dads name!😂 Oh and red rocks is badass! Just experienced heilung their! The rocks are amazing!!
Mushroomhead - Solitaire Unraveling please! One of their most iconic tracks and the video is great. 🤘
I really like how long this song is I like long songs.😊🎉
Mario Duplantier the drummer, released multiple drum solo studio sessions worth watching! Movement, Cyclone and Minotaur are mind bending.
I agree. I love Super Mario Duplantier. When Joe Duplantier says go...Mario goes.
See these guys in person you leave like weak in the knees. It's so dam intense. If you weren't into metal you will be after a show.
hey yeah, this red rocks is amazing, there are zero bad songs, you guys should listen to Only pain and the cell, it will blow your minds

Gojira playing live is out of body experience. Saw the live twice 2018 and 2023 and i can't wait to see them for the third time!
Please gojira - another world and led zeppelin - dazed and confused
Mario is rising up my favourite drummer list
Monster band! Kaiju - (gesundheit 🤧)rock, man. Huge, epic. I gave a project of mine a Japanese movie monster's name too, so I'm totally down for more of them. Don't think I've heard them before, I've heard of them, but I'm sure I'd remember something like this.

Wish you'd react to a live version of The Art of Dying
I was there, Opeth was the headliner. It was an amazing show!
As technically proficient and complex as Gojira is, you would think they're best in the studio. Nope. Their best performances are live.
This show was amazing. Devin Townsend before them and Operh after
Mastodon is another great progressive metal band with a fantastic drummer.. check out Hearts Alive, the climax of the album Leviathan which is the Moby Dick story
Here's hoping this comment doesn’t get lost in the shuffle, but I'm hoping you two could react to Nic Nemeth's TNA Theme, "Wanted Man" by Downstait.
Banger
You should do Only Pain from that same show. It’s the opener and even more fire than this. It’s still daylight a little and you can see the rocks and venue. It’s spectacular
Please react to All Them Witches- Charles William
Misfits - Astro Zombies

You want Mario at his beastliest? Where dragons dwell live. Choose the top one.
Mario Duplantier ❤ incredible
PLEASE LISTEN TO PERIPHERY
They make poorly skilled bands like Metallica look very second rate!
