I really love this song, with its Alice-In-Wonderland kind of lyrics. And it is very bouncy and upbeat sounding, while seemingly talking about things coming to an end!!? I guess the takeaway is, seize the moment!

This is one of my favorite songs of theirs. I love how incredibly different from the original it is (also 1000x better than the original). But my favorite part is the classic choral chord at the end of the song. It's so simple and pure.
It's called a Picardy third and was common up to the 19th century in modal or minor key religious and choral works as a happy resolution despite the somber nature or meaning behind the actual work.
Just a little music theory lesson...LOL.
