I really wish that you would give advice that was Biblical with scriptural references instead of this sort of stuff that's just not. It sounds great from a worldly perspective, but it's just not Biblical my friend. Matthew 5:38-48. 2 Timothy 3:2 states, "People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy." Loving yourself leads to all of these sins. We are never called anywhere in scripture to love ourselves rather we are called to give up ourselves, to sacrifice ourselves. People who preach these kinds of messages would have called Jesus a doormat for dying for our sins. How is it that Jesus who says continually to sacrifice her others, and Paul who also agrees with that, we're not doormats when they're doing the very thing you're saying not to? Jesus defended himself on occasion, but most of the time he didn't. When he was going to the Cross what did he say? We are not the authority over our house in this way. We don't have the authority to hold our spouse accountable in this way. The church does and God does, but not us. We are not the boss of our spouse, especially a wife.
Please, consult a scripture. This word was not from God, it was from your flesh or the devil.
