As a Kiwi and listening to the gentleman explaining the lack of a chase line, do you think perhaps with the amount of players abroad, things that are naturally "bok" are diminishing? I say this because I totally agree with his summation of events. I almost felt relaxed when your boys kicked for territory which, let's be honest is pretty weird. Likewise I'd be screaming at the TV if we did it usually but again, I was almost confident after the first time and that confidence seemed to grow 👀🤷🏽 In any case, it was a battle bar 20 minutes, and one I love 💚🖤🏉🍻
Seems the Irish think the same about the All Blacks, That because they won their 1st Test Series in New Zealand, we have no chance of winning another RWC, they don't own the right's and as yet, never have.
The Springboks have blown hot and cold this entire RWC cycle. They seem to have developed a real consistency problem where they play brilliant one week and then have a shocker the following week. I am not sure why this is such a problem for them but to the win RWC you have to be consistently good enough at 3 games in a row
Firstly, the All Blacks came out so fast and accurate regardless of who they were playing in that first 20 - 30min, they'd be in the lead. So well done to them. That being said, Springboks shouldn't have been that far behind, they should have been more present in the tackles, their fromation was wonky, and they failed to slow down the ball. The bomb squad approach is only successful if given a realistic chance to win. I'm proud they didn't give up the fight, but given how experienced this team is, they lacked leadership and direction for a bit. I'm also mindful how new some of the combinations have been over the last 2 games, and in this match they started 3 typical utility players (Smith, Willemse, Mostert). I'm hoping from now on coaches can start to settle the team. And can hopefully give Libbock a start against Argentina, as i don't want to just hope Pollard is injury free WC. I want a tested legitimate 10 starting, and one back up in the squad. Willemse/Le Roux/Kolbe or anyone else is a utility 10 option if in an emergency.
As a kiwi this win don't mean squat as we are looking for our best team to contest the Opening game at the RWC. We now have Australia and we can't dismiss them. As for winning the RWC it will mean winning all our games. I want to see a South African vs New Zealand final and that can happen if we finish Pool play in the same position in the Qtr-final finals play off's either 1st or 2nd, I would prefer we both finish on top than 2nd. but we would then avoid each other in the semi- final when our two pools A & B Qtr-finals winners play C & D Qtr-finals winner. Because we both have 3 RWC titles it's only fitting we meet in the finals. but we know this ain't no fairy tale story, a lot of work needs to be done before then, to succeed. For now for us Australia will be our next priority & focus, despite their losses we won't take them likely they have a habit of lifting their game against us and almost beat us last year. See ya at Twickenham, a final bash out before the World Cup begins. Let's smash them bro.

With the lineout most teams attack from middle or back. Boks gave us the front and with Smiths speed and length of pass the ABs didnt mind taking what others consider bad ball.
The sad reality is the ABs have a superior style of rugby it STILL gets the job done , RWC 2019 , ellispark , especially when it matters most , regardless of coaching crisis , they still thrash the boks at will .
We need to stress lest about playing ABs, we just need to play good rugby, focus on being good at strength, set pieces, speed, agility and simple ball skills and passes, and we'll have a great team. ABs play good rugby and don't overanalyse what we will be doing. If we have strength in unity and enjoy the game and have confidence, we'll fix these mistakes and show top quality.
Easy win, are you being dumb? No test between the Springbok, and the All Blacks is ever easy. Apart from the first half and last 10, of the 2nd half, it was quite even match.

Going by most of the comments I've read from NZ fans and NZ media. Majority are cautious, not getting too carried away and not gloating about the win. Four or five teams including South Africa are still capable of winning the RWC. All this has done is put a big target on the AB's backs again when they probably would have preferred being the underdog with less pressure and expectation.
the pundits should emphasize that 1/2 didn't train with the team that beat Australia (they came to New Zealand 2 weeks before the test) - this is a NO-NO for any team (Ian Foster brought the whole squad for The Rugby Championship to Mendoza, Argentina to face Los Pumas) - this is the difference of two teams; All Blacks already know what they want to play Boks while Boks tried to put fresh leg vs All Blacks but the plan backfired (nothing more nothing less)
If South Africa don't sort themselves out they will struggle in 10-11 weeks time against Scotland and Ireland. Ireland have the fastest ruck speed in rugby currently and Scotland aren't too much slower.

The AB’s had many plans to counter the Bokke’s ones So, they did their homework well and the threw OUR game plan out the window in causing Bokke disjointment • LOTS of homework Coach JN, Ras et al LOTS!! • Swys IS RIGHT These guys have got a plan and they’re throwing excellent decoys out and AND we’re falling for it which is COMPLETE BS!! So, back to the drawing board quick quick, no rush, just purposefully focused ALL heads together > simply? The AB’s had a wake-up call Which is excellent : we see it now, NOT in France…😳👊🔥‼️
No excuses. We played like idiots with no game plan or tactics.. How often do the Boks go into a game as favourites and lose.. ?? Especially in NZ.. Psychology.. we aren't great in that dept.
I think it has more to do with them playing in Japan. They arent used to the pace and sharpness needed. They'll adjust but as long as a large Bok contingent plays in Japan we will be slow starters in a season. Just my thought maybe someone will prove me wrong showing # of players Japan. 😂
You Boys are trying to make excuses against the SA and European players you play weekly.. The problem is that NZ and the All Blacks are more skillfull and faster than we are and you get surprised by the increase in quality.. Give credit where credit is due.. They are more skillfull than us,,, SA rugby went backwards when it went North.
As an AB supporter l really missed the former Super Rugby format when all the SA teams were involved in that comp. It's a pity that the financial and political climate saw South African sides going to the NH comps. I personally feel that the quality of SA play may have been compromised and sacrificed for the financial gains in the NH. One need only to look at the one single time in the previous nine attempts that a NH side has ever held aloft the RWC as victors, and that was more than a minute ago. Rightfully so, it is only proper that France and Ireland are currently very strong contenders to give the NH a second moment of glory however... one should never preclude both SA or New Zealand as tournament winners either. Best of luck to both as l would prefer that the cup remain in the SH, even if the AB's exit before or during the semi's Cheers 🍻
@@teevis3620, the expense was to costly for SA teams to come all this way to lose ,3 or 4 wins in 25 plus yrs left them no choice but to head to an easier comp , and these saffas harping on about Super rugby dying plus all the other excususes as to why they left , ABs proved them all wrong .
The Boks have not given away anything of any game plan, kick chase or lineout pressure. They are focused on the games in the world cup . No teams that will play them can now make plans against them. If there was any mistakes made it was the fact hat to squads were split and the Boks against the Abs were just off the pace because they didnt play the previous week.
The non contest at the line outs is all I need to know that Rassie and Jacque are up to something. They are purposely not showing all their cards this close to the world cup
That it is even conceivable that a Springbok team would consider it acceptable to risk losing any test match is a sign of how rugby has changed in SA. Used to be that a Springbok team would throw the kitchen sink at it when they were down as if losing was a fate worse than death. Not any more, now we have talk about losing as if it is some kind of strategic option.
@@nerdyali4154 Exactly. I'm surprised at the comments saying this loss was all part of a clever master plan. The idea that a SA team would purposely allow an AB side an on-field advantage just to see what they would do with it, so that maybe SA can foil them in a later game, is a strange mindset. Historically, there have never been what the NH calls "friendlies" between these sides. They have always played as if their lives depended on it and it'll be a sad day if that changes.
All blacks Respect Springboks...We test ourselves against South Africa before world cup. Bescause we play them more. French and Ireland will be later hopefully 👍👍
Boks are changing yo much the team they dont stick with the team that won..Always makes unforced changes that will cost us.Other problem is we need a flyhalf that can control the game Damian Willemse is not a flyhalf but they let him play there instead of starting Mannie Labbok to gain confidence. All blacks on the other hand is playing to flyhalfs(Barret and Richie) and the have to fullbacks (barret brothers) so the options for kick for territory is alot and to control the game that makes them even more dangerous it is like the time when ben smit and conrad smit was playing both are full backs but for the all blacks one played fullback other wing they were dangerous and the all blacks dont make unnecessary changes they build constancy winning or losing

The issue with Lineouts AB never kept the Mark, the hooker put the Ball in directly across the AB line, the ref penalised them for it once in the game but he let it go through out, springboks was asleep that's what happened
Boks kept taking a step towards the AB’s lineout, weren’t called for it by the ref, so Taylor would step to ensure he was in the middle of the lineout, using the new centerline created by the advancing boks as his marker. Taylor got called for stepping, while the boks got away with closing the gap. My wife’s American, has only been watching rugby for the last five years and she even noticed the boks doing this before the commentary teams mentioned it, how did you miss it?

Not up to something. Rassie and them knew the All Blacks put a lot of hard work in their forward game..by not contesting line outs it makes it harder for teams to maul against you.
Oh yeah...South Africa were planning to launch intricate plays off the opposition's line out 😉
@@sambingham1196 or perhaps allowing them a platform to run their best plays ?
Too many players having a holiday in Japan and then want to play test match rugby 6 months later, that is the big problem...
To much weights not enough speed
Yep Wiese and Mostert are slugs for loose forwards
I am a bok supporter.i honestly wants the all blacks to win the world cup this year.if not and the boks manage some how to take it again just think bqck about this brutal awesome and speedy performance and ask yourself where did it went wrong again.
It only went wrong for SA . ABs were fine .
Super Rugby is better than other competition around
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Guys this was the south African A team last week was the south African B team did we get it wrong
ABs 60+wins
SA 30+wins
Maybe its time to change the SA rugby tactics/DNA
I always look forward to this rivalry. Immense respect for both teams!
Was this a bluff? Did the Springboks deliberately hold back?
Did they hold back in the first twenty ?, or were held back by the ABs speed and accuracy ? .
The AB’s had many plans to counter the Bokke’s ones
So, they did their homework well
and the threw OUR game plan out the window
in causing Bokke disjointment
• LOTS of homework Coach JN, Ras et al
LOTS!!
• Swys IS RIGHT
These guys have got a plan
and they’re throwing excellent decoys out
and
AND
we’re falling for it
which is COMPLETE BS!!
So, back to the drawing board quick quick, no rush, just purposefully focused
ALL heads together
> simply? The AB’s had a wake-up call
Which is excellent : we see it now, NOT in France…😳👊🔥‼️
No excuses. We played like idiots with no game plan or tactics.. How often do the Boks go into a game as favourites and lose.. ?? Especially in NZ.. Psychology.. we aren't great in that dept.
My coach told me in under 7's .... that team can only play as good as you let them play ... nuff said !!
Theres a reason be only coaches u7s
@@nielvanderwalt1965 It still applies
As a kiwi what’s the feeling of sending half your players over early? Do SA feel like this might have contributed to the lack d line, line outs etc
They are more skillfull than us,,,
SA rugby went backwards when it went North.
Best of luck to both as l would prefer that the cup remain in the SH, even if the AB's exit before or during the semi's
Cheers 🍻
I cant believe we aren't talking about Lood and how flat he looked. Nothing about that boy screams Athelete. Started to look a lot better with RG
i think Orie is putting his hand up higher for that 5 shirt
For me, the Boks looked incredibly dangerous with ball…they just never got the ball
57 nil..will always be remembered 😅😅😅
Easy to talk this when you didnt play the game under game pressures
Strange to see a weak Bok defense, especially with JN as head coach.
There's a rabbit in the hat 😊
Or it could be that the AB’s done their homework and exposed space 🤷🏻♂️🤔
What if we were making mistakes purposefully to not show all our plans for the WC
Japan based players let us down.... need proper game time as a full A team.
Agreed! Malcolm Marx the exception though!
All blacks Respect Springboks...We test ourselves against South Africa before world cup. Bescause we play them more. French and Ireland will be later hopefully 👍👍
You win one world cup and youre saying this isnt us????😂😂😂😂
Not unusual errors if its against a flat out better team 💪🏽🇳🇿
Rassie = clever fox, dont underestimate what their up too...
jaques and rassie saving [holding] there gameplan for the world cup thats why not contesting line oouts
Different team against the Australia
These SAns cant admit that the ABs are just better lol leave Super Rugby is showings its effects now
Nienaber is destroying this team
Why not play the whole full video intend of one by one this is so annoying
Julle het op Final Whistle nie alles ontleed nie. NZ het 38 keer van kant van losskrums ingekom sonder dat hul een keer gestraf is. Tel by ingeduik, nie eie gewig ondersteun, seal off, staan langs kant van losskrums. SA moes meer as 50 strafskoppe gekry het !!!
Tesame met hul goeie spel het die cheats hul gans teveel onregverdige vorentoe momentum gegee !!!
@wide eye , your excuses for losing is endless , talking kak just makes you look more stupid than you look , and your bomb squad were simply blown off the park .better luck next time chopper . 😅😂😂😂.
why cant you drop the whole video instead of cutting it to pieces. I would fire whomever thought its a good Idea for this
Relax remember the boks are the only team that doesn't have players at club playing together maybe 2 or 3 . We are basically a Barbarian team . So we need little time 😅
The loss is irrelevant in this RWC year.
Sure!
ABs stepped into the space at LO and only got penalized once.
Boks did it the whole game and never got whistled once.
True
Losin the Nelson Mandela Freedom Cup On The Great Man's Birthday Mouth, streets is done...
You got smacked. Grow up
The issue with Lineouts AB never kept the Mark, the hooker put the Ball in directly across the AB line, the ref penalised them for it once in the game but he let it go through out, springboks was asleep that's what happened
All blacks old World Cup chokers...look what France,England did to them in the semis...I expect an Mbombela moment from the All blacks come the World Cup
You should be more worried about what the All Blacks do to you every time we play , instead of what France & England did , ABs putting 50+ points on your world chumpion team should be more of a concern & worry for SA .😢😢
Just like your SA team ,Broderick world cup chokers against ABs & Japan , and a dismal record as world champs . 😅😅😅
Other coaches are listening and exposing your tactics so stop doing what u doing and surprise your position with new tacticts🤔🤔🤔
or c'mon SA you were not that good. NZ beats u big time. NZ has got your measure.
That's what they said.

Please guys, those line outs were all illegal, right Infront a the ref...he cautioned AB's once...but never again..the AB's were closing the 0.5m gap every time, which is foul play...great ref hey...TMO my word Kolbe try was denied with lies on international television..this was sickening..but normal when you play the AB's.
