    Bro.. Awesome video.... Superb Explanations. Only a small correction. 24:19 You were telling about how you taking that IS Quality 8. It is not only the std value. Since we have taken the Load correction factor(k) in 8.14. All the k values given in that table is for IS Quality 8 and for Specified Hardness(HB) values. That is the reason why we are taking it specifically.
    Kindly upload many videos like this it will be a great opportunity for the students of Mechanical Engineering from Tamil Nadu to learn easily.

      Calc sigma c for both wheel and pinion, if different material.... For same material use the higher speed

      Each author will for diff kind of data sets and simplified formula relations. Here students are allowed to follow the design data book by PSG publications. It ll available in flipkart or amazon., If u r in need. And pdf copy also available telegram also. I am not actually clear how they the equations, i simply tke the final relation to solve the problems.

The shaft A running at 2400 rpm is driven by a belt drive having an efficiency of 90%. The motor delivers power of 38.8 kW. Assume 15 Ni 2 Crl Mo15 for both pinion and wheel. Design the suitable gear drive.
      1. Choose suitable gear drive and design the gear pair
      2. What kind of gear box with how many outputs can be used if the belt drive used for transmitting the power to the shaft A is to be replaced with a gear box?
