Roy Harper - Hell's Angels - Live Studio Performance 1969 / 1970

Part 3 of some old Roy Harper footage that has recently surfaced. Five songs recorded live in studio. All five are in order in this playlist. But... recorded and filmed in which studio? Rumour has it that it's from Norwegian TV 1970. Roy has some vague recollection of the session but can't remember the 'where' or 'when'. We're working on that. Because of the songs being played, and the way some are being played, he thinks this session couldn't have been recorded after 1969.

Love Roy, saw him at the Adelphi hotel in the pool wi his son nicky playin lead cos Roy's hands were bad wi arthritis.Totally blew me away.
Always enjoyed his little diatribes and back an forth wi the audience, he loved/loathed playing liverpool, he said were the most honest audience so he'd always play the pool first with new material. Wish him and Iommi had done something together....

My friends and I found copies of the album in a bargain bin at a record store around 1972 where we lived in the northwest USA. We loved it and wore two or three copies of the LP out.
Several of us were VERY pleasantly surprised to see Roy on the bill at the Seattle Bumbershoot Festival in 1999... A great performance sitting outdoors in a small setting and listening to "I Hate the White Man" among others....
