world 6 really is the world of "all these levels have a purple sky"
I've been doing this for a long time, I kind of have a good sense of how much footage will survive the editing process.

Donut County, in case nobody's mentioned it, is named after a game where you create holes to suck in chunks of an entire city. I recommend it, it's a very goofy and funny game!
Not create holes. You control a hole.
@@SenseiLeRoof i knew it was something like that. Been a while
It's a very rao game that I hope he plays on channel some day.
"Have a garbage day!" - BK
Also found out the developer is the same guy who did What Remains of Edith Finch, the Sonic Dreams Collection, Tattletail, the "leaked" Anamanaguchi game Capsule Silence XXIV, and yes, Neon White
It's CHAOS in this level because these Charlies can do anything.
"I love this level!" - raocow, playing every level of this hack.
I may have a personal issue with making certain collectibles save upon collection, rather than obtaining a midpoint/finishing the level, but man. I sure am glad the devs made Dragon Coins like that for this hack. Donut County looked so hectic I couldn't imagine stressing about collecting all the Dragon Coins every single run _on top_ of just trying to stay alive.
I have to admit that it pains me how often you brush up against a wall, hoping to slot into a two-tile gap. This is already unreliable even in the best circumstances, but to do it while falling fast and big has maybe like, a 10% chance of ever working. The likelihood drops a little further when the ground tile in question is fully solid (i.e. it has a side collision) and with wallclips patched as this hack does, that likelihood is reduced yet further.
yeah it just never works
It either should work or should never be an issue because no gaps you have to slide into like that should ever be less than 3 tiles high.
The way the football Charlies throw their ball super fast, it reminds me of Jevil's "oop oop oop" move he does, it goes with the music well, so I wonder if it's intentional.
I love that the earth is turning
20:50 Yeah, I think Donut County for a 3 star level is brutally harder than the other, lol
yeah it's insane that its still 3 star, i mean it is very short but it's basically kaizo
That second level should be AT LEAST 4 stars.
it's very short, it's just that the execution is very hard
...but yeah maybe 3.5 stars
I almost spat coffee all over my monitor during the raocow-ism from 8:02 to 8:06, that is one of the most subtly brilliant jokes/references I have heard in ages
Thanks, I didn't even catch it!

7:59 to get the full effect.
That first level is literally that one castle's Charlie Amusement Park counterpart. :P
You're telling me that star ratings are not perfectly accurate in every situation for every person? That's just Nonsense!
Ahh yes 10 minutes of Mario having an epic showdown against the Disco Charlies.
As far as I can tell (not being the author), the second level today is called Donut County in reference to an indie game also called Donut County. It has a plot to it, so without spoiling any of that, basically it's a game where you control a hole and make a lot of objects fall into it.
Instead of one hole, this level just has a whole bunch of little automatically-running holes in it that only Mario falls into, and the player controls Mario instead of a hole, so it's topically but perhaps not thematically related.
Still, it looked like a pretty neat level that was making use of the holes in terms of putting pressure on the player to keep moving, like there's definitely some very careful design of the setups involved here. Keeping momentum to make high jumps in this situation is pretty tough though, haven't seen that come up a lot.
One more level my old friend...
Causing me to loose my end.
Suffering and much despair,
why did I chose to be here?
Chromatic Cacotopia[ 7 | DC7 ]:
Is it jolpe's favorite level? No because raocow loves it!
Pretty fun chaos!
🟢Donut County[ 7 | DC7 ]:
Short and very tough level!
It's all about timing and focus (and luck at the end).
It's alright, not my favorites.
A-side never ends! 👀
One of these days, He is going to miss one Dragon coin at the middle and finish the level all the way.
I think in that instance he'd probably end up killing himself instead of getting the goal, assuming:
1. He got a midpoint
2. The dragon coin he missed is after the midpoint
Otherwise, yeah just finish the level.
unexpected visit from tim allen, then seeing the name of the second level and wondering if its a reference to a fun game(it is!)
I really like Toby Fox music!
It is interesting that castle seems lead nowhere in the map. I wonder if it is going to be outside of the map, or it is going to connect with original star world and create super star world or something.
That is probably just non-sense.
9:04 That was the CHEEKIEST piece of sports equipment I seen in a while! Donut County in my SMW, well the obj was already in the banks...
Wherein Mario jumps through pigskin and disembodied hoops
3:13 Favorite level *i made*
Don't make me sound arrogant cow! :P
My absolute super favorite level of all time is by MiracleWater and unreleased in my collab as of yet :3
Do you work on multiple levels at a time or do you design one to completion and move on? I swear you're the most prolific level maker in this hack
Fwiw, I automatically heard the sentence as meaning levels you made and had to go back and listen again to see what you meant.
@@AgentFire000 I just make one at a time, currently I have no SMW juices in me at all, so I make nothing for months, but when it comes back I make like a level in a few hours normally, it just goes really quickly for me, THIS one however took a bit longer since setting up those roto disc thingies is a bit of a hassle + the palette effect took a while to make
@@Gameboygeniusyeah, that’s how I took it too
BALLS
(This is not a serious answer, for the record)
Donut County is a mobile physics game where you drag a hole around the land for things to fall into, right?r
damnit BK, did you deliver a donut to the plumber?
man i didnt realize how good the world 6 music is, especially when it reaches that 2nd section. anyone know where it is from?
wonder from (old school) runescape
@@green929392 Thanks!
i knew it! i figured it out yesterday but i could not find the correct song. at first i thought it was Forever but playing them side by side proved me wrong. i must have skipped over Wonder during my search.
tbh i'm surprised it took me till yesterday to realize
i probably read wonder as wander and so skipped over it
Death count: 1566 (83 today)

(1:04) ♫ Deltarune - THE WORLD REVOLVING
(1:09) Whoa, that clapper can really jump.
(1:15) It's the Amazing Flying Punting Chuck. It takes 3 bops from beneath or 3 stomps to KO him, but the autoscroll doesn't give you the time for that. However, one thwack with a cape from the side can also defeat him.
(1:20) That's a hole, and today's first death.
(1:42) RIP cape.
(3:40) "Tick." Graze +1. Those footballs must have the same hitbox size as power ups.
(4:13) Start of the winning run of the first half.
(5:23) Zwee! Took 6 deaths to get to this midpoint.
(6:17) Football RNG strikes yet again.
(7:56) All Yoshi coins get!
(7:59) This cowman is now part of All the Home Improvements. :P
(8:08) ⚾
(9:13) Start of the winning run of the second half.
(10:38) Nice 40-star hit. Would've been amazing if you somehow got 50 there. Anyway, it took you 17 deaths to clear the second half.
(11:03) They better not be of the nuclear Rinka 🍩variety this time. :P
(11:30) First death of this level, but it has the retry system, so your lives won't decrease.
(12:19) Nom. That is a really tight jump. However, bringing in a Yoshi helps a lot.
(13:47) Ludicrous speed moving hole!
(14:00) Is the stated 3-star difficulty really accurate? Because you have to time this tight jump with a moving hole and that Piranha Plant. Feels like the difficulty might've been a tad understated.
(14:26) D'oh, you made it perfectly as big Mario without ducking, but then held back and failed to land on the block down there.
(14:40) There we go!
(14:54) Huhwhat? Does that speedy hole even function? Or is it moving way too fast to actually dump you?
(15:30) Okay, that speedy hole can eat your jump and/or jut you off the platform.
(15:52) Start of the winning run of the first half.
(16:00) Oh, come on. You weren't even touching the plant's pixels there.
(16:31) Zwee! Took you 30 deaths to get to this midpoint.
(16:36) That ? block of course has a power up, and it's a flower if you hit it while big.
(16:51) Seems unreasonably tricky to get that power up when it's a mushroom.
(17:20) Got the mushroom that time.
(17:43) Another tricky jump. Maybe this should've been given a 4-star difficulty rating.
(18:46) All Yoshi coins get!
(18:54) Stupid red-stem! The level should've been done with there!
(19:15) I don't know why you didn't at least duck as you fell there.
(19:49) Okay, now I call shenanigans. You _were_ ducking, increasing your chances of reliably getting in there, and the game still didn't allow it. It's like having a Pokémon's skill maxed out at level 5 in Pokémon Shuffle, but it still doesn't work 100% of the time when you need it most. Seriously, why is Marshadow's Hide and Seek ability still not 100% guaranteed to work even at skill level 5 if it's not a 5-match? It's not stupidly OP by any means. It's simply mildly helpful when playing the weekend Meowth stage.
(19:57) Start of the winning run of the second half.
(20:37) FINISH!!! Took 30 more deaths for the second half.
How long until raocow remembers there’s the Rainbow storehouse since he has all the Switch Palaces?
@@AWMonopolyMan
Maybe when he gets to 20 Yoshi coin sets and goes to buy the last extra level in that world.
@@SomeGuy712x Yeah, that’s a good point.
Difficulty Judge: Insane 8* (Chromatic Cacotopia), Easy/Medium Demon borderline (Donut County)
Is that mystical power plant music I hear?
My favorite Deltarune character... Chester (Chevil?), master of all four sports
These cycling color effects are neat, but I feel they should be slower.
Has the 2nd level appeared in another hack before? I swear I've seen raocow play it before
There was a ghost house with this gimmick, wasn’t there? Was that in the e-card hack or this one?
Can someone hint me about the music in the first level? I've heard it in many places as remix and in collabs, but somehow the name eludes me.
