It can certainly be challenging to find certain ingredients, especially if you're looking for traditional or specific items in a region where they might not be as readily available. I don't know about seafood in Florida but in most of the US, flash frozen seafood on a boat that has just caugth the seafood is much fresher that unfrozen from the fishmonger at the supermarket.
You're absolutely right! Flash-frozen seafood right on the boat can often be fresher and of higher quality compared to seafood that has been sitting unfrozen at the supermarket. It's a common practice to preserve the quality and taste of seafood. Thank you for highlighting this important point! 🦐🐟👨🍳😄
It's salad mozarella. We have it in sweden to but is usually over salted because its intended for salad bars in supermarkets. It's not dry though.
Vincenzo you should react to The Pasta Queen
Honestly I love her and all her videos! She’s Italian and she really knows how to cook 😍
My wife and I visited Orlando last January. We were surprised by how there was also a strong Brazilian influence in Orlando.
Really? That's interesting! Where did you notice the brazilian influence?
@@vincenzosplatewe were staying at a little hotel right across the street from Universal Studios and near the Disney parks. You would see various street signs and local businesses posted in Portuguese.
I live in South Florida by the beach. You can get seafood fresh seafood from the pier when the boats come back from fishing. I’m not sure where she got that this is Florida pasta, this is disgusting!
I used to use Barilla pasta until I saw your video on pastas. There are several Italian markets where I live and now I go there for good quality pasta.
That's fantastic to hear! 🌊🍝 Fresh seafood and quality pasta make all the difference. Proud to inspire you to make authentic Italian dishes with amore! 😊🇮🇹
thank you so much for not having the cursor on screen this time
Watching this woman will give me nightmares.
It scares me to the core.
Me too her recipes ahhaa
😂 I live in a decent sized city (less than 200k) in Canada and I can literally go one extra mile to get Rummo pasta. Or 1.6 kilometers if you're metric.
Keep watching these 'quick' 'easy' 'shortcut going' recipies while cooking proper bolognese - it's already been 3 hours, 2 more hours to go 😅. I feel proud about myself 😊
Only one thing i disagree with you is your opinion about Barilla. It's not THAT bad IMHO. For every day meal Barilla is fine, for special occasions i go with La Molisana or De Cecco 😋
Greetings from Poland 😉
I'm proud of you too! I'm sure your bolognese must have tasted amazing at the end 😊
It's a good pasta but if I want to make super good impression online, I'd go for a better brand 😊
No way, man. I’m in Florida and I’ve been living off Vincenzo recipes (and losing weight) since I found this channel.
That's fantastic to hear! I'm thrilled that you've been enjoying and benefiting from my recipes. Italian cuisine can be delicious and healthy, and it sounds like you're on the right track! 🍝🇮🇹👨🍳😄
Did i miss the seasoning going in? Also If I had loved ones and treated them to that dish, they would not love me anymore.
You didn't miss much seasoning in this dish; it seemed quite lacking in that department! 😅 And yes, serving that dish to loved ones might indeed test the limits of their affection. Let's stick to dishes that bring people together in culinary joy! 🍝❤️😄
What did I just see?! BEST video to cut hunger 😂
Haha, sometimes a bizarre culinary experiment can be a great appetite suppressant! 😄🍔 But don't worry, we'll get back to the tasty stuff next time! 👨🍳🍝
@@vincenzosplate With great pleasure, I love your content Vincenzo ! keep it up 🙏🙏 Waiting for James Makinson collaboration 😉
Love the video
When you made that for your love ones you have after it no people how love you anymore!!!
Haha, it's true that some culinary experiments can be love-it-or-leave-it affairs! But hey, the heart's in the right place when we cook for loved ones, even if the results are a bit... questionable. 😅❤️👨🍳🍽️
This is the most disgusting recipe I ever seen you are absolutely right 🥵
This one is the absolute worst! Can’t believe people eat like this!
Has she learned from Jamie Oliver's Lasagna, LOL
Haha, looks like Jamie's lasagna left quite an impression! 😅 Let's hope she's taking notes and improving those cooking skills! 📝🍝
As an italian, it hurts very bad to see she breaking the pasta. Even a Barilla
I completely understand your sentiment. Breaking pasta is a culinary no-no in Italian cuisine. Authenticity is key, and it's always best to treat pasta with the respect it deserves. Let's hope for more faithful representations of Italian cooking in the future! 🍝🇮🇹😊
Subbed and Liked. Thank you for helping me make the yummiest meals I have ever tasted.
All the best.....
You're welcome my friend ❤ Stay tuned for more delicious recipes 😁
the dish is a heartattack
Yeah, she definitely gave me a heart attack seeing the mess she made!
@@vincenzosplate and eating it will get you strtaight to the hospital
I’m thinking… straight outta The Villages after a day spent in Margaritaville 😲
Haha, it does seem like a recipe that might have been inspired by a day in Margaritaville! 🍹🏖️ Sometimes, unconventional culinary experiments can be quite the adventure. Let's hope for tastier ones in the future! 🍽️😄
Ive lived in Florida for 30 years and l can promise you this technique is very commonly use down here
I completely agree!!! I won’t eat out or at anyone’s house!
Oh wow really? I hoped that only this woman cooked like this, but instead it saddens me to know that many people cook like this
Yes, in general most Americans love cooking this way, dumping everything into one pot, usually food from jars and cans, and cooking it... I think they forgot how to really cook...😢
Che schifezza 🙈🙈
What do you expect from Florida ?
I am sure there are people that know how to cook there, but knowing there is also someone that cooks like this really shock me!
Your excellent videos and accent always makes me want to eat pasta while watching the Sopranos.
Watching you die inside was absolutely hilarious (sorry haha). Thank you always for your amazing content :)
Grazie mille for the kind words and a good laugh! 😄🍝 I'm here to entertain and share my passion for pasta, even when it's a culinary disaster! Stay tuned for more delicious adventures! 🇮🇹📺👨🍳
I am pretty certain this is a Jamie Oliver dish. Amazing! So Beautiful! * gag * I live in Florida and gosh, I don't even think the chain restaurants would do something so nasty. Never seen anything like this.
Love your recepies Vincenso. These videos are funny
My friend Im a floridian, like Ive commented before Ive been cooking all of your recipes to my family and they love it simple and delicious!
We have Nicaraguan food, Cuban, Colombian, Venezuelan……
You can feel safe to come visit, ill take you to the fresh seafood markets! Its the fishing capital of the world!
Just dont let Gordon find out! 😅
Regards!
That's fantastic to hear! 😄 It's always wonderful to share delicious food with family. And I'm sure the seafood in Florida is incredible! If I ever make it there, I'll definitely reach out for some culinary adventures. Thanks for the warm invitation! 🍝👨🍳🌴😋
It reminds me a bit of grade school cafeteria food from the 70s... It's like an elevated (LOL 🤣) turkey tetrazzini or chicken ala King but with seafood... Oh wait. No, it's a tuna noodle casserole! without the tuna!
Haha, it does seem to have a bit of that nostalgic (or perhaps not-so-nostalgic) cafeteria food vibe! 😄 It's interesting how different culinary creations can evoke memories of various dishes. Let's hope for more unique and appetizing recipes in the future! 🍽️😅
@@vincenzosplate Not so nostalgic! 🤣 OK, maybe a little nostalgic since it was part of my childhood. 😁This woman though, is cooking American food, because that is all she knows. This has nothing to do with Italian pasta. It's an American baked noodle dish.
This was disturbing im at a loss for words..i just found your channel n subscribed liking your content n i love cooking
Thank you so much for the support and subscription! 🙏❤️ We promise to keep the culinary adventures delicious and not-so-disturbing! 😄🍳🍝
I am in Florida and I have used your videos to make good pasta, carbonara especially.
Thank you so much for your trust! I hope you've enjoyed them! 😊🍝
Vincenzo, I love you and your videos. This is another example of a video from someone who can't really cook, making a "simple" recipe. It takes some skill to cook, these people do not have any.
Thank you for the love! Cooking is indeed an art that requires skill and practice. It's important to appreciate those who put in the effort to learn and create delicious dishes. Let's hope for more culinary adventures that showcase true cooking talent! 🍽️👨🍳😊
That sound you hear is every Italian in South Philly throwing up
Oh, no! 😅 We definitely wouldn't want to upset the Italian community in South Philly. Let's stick to authentic Italian recipes that make everyone proud! 🇮🇹🍝👨🍳😉
This was hilarious from the moment she started cutting plastic into the pan. And at one point while you talked over her she called it a rich, fancy dish you can serve to your friends and family (that's when you said you'd never come to her house again). Fancy!! 😂
1:18 for a moment, I thought that was Olive Garden Garlic, LOL
Publix is all over Florida they offer all different brands of pasta, sauce, oil
Vincenzo, I live in Florida and I make pasta the way your channel tells me to
That's fantastic to hear! 🍝🌴 Keep spreading the love for authentic Italian cooking in sunny Florida. Buon appetito! 🇮🇹👨🍳🌞
Fun fact!
She works as chef cook, in one of Jamie Oliver's Reastaurants.
Surprised?
Oh, the irony! 😄 Working in a Jamie Oliver restaurant and still creating, um, interesting dishes. It's a culinary adventure for sure! 🍽️😂
8:15 my grandmother used to wash the clothes like this 😢, i missed you grandma ❤.
😂😂🙈
That food preparation is ....🎀 the least appetizing possible, she wins a contest 😁 to spoil any appetite
Haha, you're absolutely right! That food preparation was a masterclass in appetite-spoiling. 😂🏆 Let's stick to appetizing Italian delights! 🍝🇮🇹😄
That kind of mozzarella is for snacking on. It's pretty common over here in the US
You're absolutely right! Mozzarella meant for snacking is quite common in the US. Using it in cooking can be quite different from using traditional mozzarella in Italian recipes. 🧀🍽️😊
No comment. I couldn’t finish my breakfast that I was eating while watching this.
Oh no, I hope your breakfast wasn't too affected by the video! 😅 Let's focus on more appetizing dishes in the future! 👨🍳🍳
I almost died watching this made my cry 😢
I feel your pain, pal! It's almost like witnessing a food tragedy unfold before our eyes. 😭 Stay strong, and let's hope for better culinary adventures! 🙏🍝💪
Vincenzo, I love your new horror channel, cooking with aliens. 🤣
Haha! Grazie mille! 👽😂 Cooking with aliens would definitely be out of this world! 🌌🍽️
She single handedly assassinate both the dish and the people of florida. Kudos to you lady😂
I agree, that "recipe" is such a crime against pasta 😢
I was having a great day so far until I watched this Halloween episode.
Oh no! 😱 Sorry to hear that the Halloween episode didn't quite hit the spot. Hopefully, the next one will be a tasty treat! 🎃👻😄
my heart broke just like the spaghetti haha!
Haha, your heart breaking like the spaghetti perfectly captures the sentiment! 😂 Let's keep our hearts intact with delicious Italian cuisine! 🍝❤️😄
The pasta is more orange than the crab! 😂 I used to think Barilla was a good brand before I watched your vids Vincenzo, thanks for enlightening me!
Haha, the pasta being more orange than the crab is quite the culinary paradox! 😂 I'm here to help you discover the world of authentic Italian ingredients. Grazie for watching, amico! 🍝🇮🇹👨🍳😁
Always get me some mozzarella when I can with the water. If I use it all at once I will sip up the Mozzarella water like it is a side dish

Florida is just so remote from saltwater, there are no fresh seafood available.😂
I remember having tried to make fresh pasta (German style) in FL 30y ago. The options for getting the very basic ingredients where nit great. It was not about getting the right flour, but getting any not contaminated with any „make it easier“ chemicals.
It can certainly be challenging to find certain ingredients, especially if you're looking for traditional or specific items in a region where they might not be as readily available. Cooking can sometimes involve creative substitutions when faced with limited options. Fortunately, the availability of ingredients has improved over the years, making it easier for people to explore and enjoy a wide range of cuisines. 😄🍝👨🍳
