I think Mimi puts a lot of pressure on herself to be a Supermom (which she is!) but it’s okay to not be there for every nap, every diaper, etc. I would love to hear more about this, because I could sense the anxiety of it at all through watching.

And that is so special because once the time has passed you can't get it back and I was the same way with my son and daughter. Other people's relationships usually bore me to tears, but because I like the dynamics between Mimi & Alex, I really enjoyed this video!! Mimi and Alex, thank you. 💕

I love how Mimi is so calm and collected and everyone always thinks she's so controlling, I think the wonderful thing about your relationship is that you're both able to express your dominant traits, yet work on your weaker traits together. I think assuming that Mimi is bossy is like thinking her and Alex are not aware of her strength, and we all see it and its a beautiful trait, but it doesn't mean she doesn't have other traits or that she is abusing her strength.

Love your dedication and deep consideration to being a parent Mimi! It's actually very disturbing, and I think the root of so much suffering in this world, that SO many children are born to people who are just like "Hrm, wana have a kid/another?" "Uh yeah sure what the heck, I don't have too much going on (/other lame irresponsible reasons or feeling pressured into it)". And those people tend to have the most kids.....

I’m a lot like Mimi. I take parenting and raising a child so serious. I think that the relationship with a child is so deep and hey are only so little so long. I wasn’t ever sure I wanted babies but after I married and met my half. I wanted to experience that with him. After having a daughter gosh my love for her and my husband is unreal. I didn’t think I’d be ready to have another baby. I mean I never thought I wanted more but as of right now I finally seem so happy and open to it. I’m so excited now to be expanding.

Interesting video! But I must say that it's really sad that Alex would be fine with "delegating most of the parenting". And when he says he understands that Mimi "has a special connection" to Alexa and therefore wants to be present, he's indicating that he doesn't have a special connection to Alexa. Please, children need two present and caring parents.

Mimi, I totally respect every women decision of making a child. For me, and my husband was “at least 2, no more than 3”. Our reasoning was: to have a brother and/or a sister is the best gift you can give to your baby. I know not all siblings get along, but, still, I think is the best thing to have siblings. Also, as a mother of 2, who, like you, is a hands on mom, also, like you, an entrepreneur, although it was very difficult at first, it was, and still is, the best experience. Also, I hate to see good people, who can raise more good people, deciding not to. But that just me. XOXO

Im in a masculine male w feminine female marriage, and to Alex's point who has the time? I really relate with Alex a lot even with the king size bed, and hands off parenting. My husband is Mimi in a man, it's so interesting he's a very hands on father, and I'm really grateful for that.

You two guys are my favourite RUclips couple. I have never once got bored of watching you, and still get excited when you post a video. I love Mimi's passion for things, I totally feel that too. I love deep meaningful conversations and people opening up, I find that so interesting. I think you are just a normal, regular couple. But I also see how much you love and admire each other. And that's what I love about you both. Carry in the good content that you create and thank you for all the hard work that goes into your channel.x😄

Love your podcast!! I do love the name “The Ikonns” but i also loved the ikonn experience because I feel like everything you two create is an experience for people, from hair, to shampoo, to your videos and also listening to the podcast! Maybe you can use the ikonn experience for a different project hehe and LOL funniest part of the video “Mimi planned Alex’s proposal to her”
